• Reporting to: Procurement & Stores Manager
• Receiving purchase requisition from projects / procurement manager
• Analyzing the project requirement and plan for the procurement
• Floating inquiries to suitable suppliers/vendor/subcontractors
• Receiving the technical/commercial quotations
• Review the supplier/vendor/subcontractor quotation (Technical & Commercial).
• Doing commercial & technical comparison.
• Getting technical approval from the project team.
• Negotiating cost, payment, delivery and all commercial terms & conditions with the supplier/ vendor/ subcontractor, who met the project specifications
• Preparation of a purchase order and submission of management approval with all supporting documents (purchase requisition, comparison sheet, vendor's compliance, and all supplier's quotations).
• Release the purchase order and get a PO acknowledgment copy from the supplier/ vendor/ subcontractor.
• Continues follow-up with vendor/supplier to know the production status.
• Arrange TPI if required.
• Receive all technical documents (MTC, calibration certificate, etc.) from the supplier/ vendor prior to shipment from the factory.
• Sending all technical documents (MTC, calibration certificate, etc.) to our project team/client for review and approval.
• Provide shipping clearance to the supplier/ vendor if documents meet project requirements and upon confirmation from our project team/ client.
• Arrange freight forwarder and coordinate with customs clearance representative if required.
• Delivery follow up and co-ordinate with stores in charge.
• Follow up with QA/QC team for the approval of material inspection report.
• Coordinate with finance department for payment release to supplier/ vendor.
• Coordinate with supplier/ vendor if any support is required during the commissioning stage.
• Build relationship with supplier/ vendor.
• Supporting the estimation team for the upcoming project/tender
• Dealing with local and international suppliers/ vendors

• Position: Sales / Application Engineer
• Period: From October 2013 to March 2019
• Reporting to: Operation Manager
• RFQs collected from KOC, KNPC, Equate, Joint Operations and local & international contracting companies.
• Analyzing and send enquiries to suitable manufacturers.
• Receiving the technical/ commercial quotations.
• Review the manufacturer quotation (Technical & Commercial).
• Doing cost estimation.
• Bid preparation and submitting tenders/ offers to the client.
• Regular customer meeting to discuss about our quotation and upcoming projects.
• After Purchase orders from client, reviewing and submitting all required documents to customer for approval prior to manufacturing starts.
• Provide technical support to client if required.
• Placing the orders to the vendor/ manufacture once received approval from client.
• Delivery follow-up with vendor/ manufacturer.
• Receive and review the test certificate, calibration certificate and related all technical documents from the manufacturer/ vendor, and provide the shipping clearance.
• If client approval is required for shipping clearance prior to shipment from the factory, send all documents to them and getting approval.
• Arrange freight forwarder.
• Receive the goods and inspect the quality.
• Arrange delivery to the client.
• Arrange commissioning support to client by trained Engineer/ Supervisor in coordination with manufacturer/ vendor, if required.
• Build long relationship with client and manufacturer.
