Socially Lost in Media has placed its focus on international communications, working with clients in the tourism and travel industry, property and hospitality industry. Working with a team of 6 people, managing digital marketing projects for our international clients, we make sure to increase their visibility internationally.

My role has been to hire qualified, experienced and client-focused social media experts to help with various projects. I train social media specialists in the sectors of travel and tourism, hospitality and property to ensure that they understand specifically the challenges ahead. All of our social media consultants speak at least two languages fluently and have a good knowledge of the local market that they are working with.

There are a few social media networks that have become an emerging marketing tool for businesses worldwide, such as Periscope and Snapchat. Each and every social media network has to be geared in a customized fashion for each and every client depending on their client base. I work with clients to ensure that we are targeting their clients on the correct networks.

Some of my project management include a project for a business from the Middle East seeking clients in the Europe, specifically targeting clients in Germany, France, the UK and Russia. We have worked with the company to ensure that the correct keywords are being used in the respective languages. Our project didn't consist of creating new social media accounts for this client, since many of their clients would speak English, but not search in English. We therefore created a campaign on Facebook where we used keywords in English, French, German and Russian to gain visibility for the business.

Providing consulting services to the Al Hamra Group with the main focus on the luxury community of Al Hamra Village, there were continuous services provided for various locations in Ras Al Khaimah:

Cantab offered one of the most competitive services in B2B marketing. The business is focused on creating high-quality leads for high-profile businesses. Through my various duties at Cantab, a lot of knowledge was gained in the B2B marketing environment and the online world.
Working as a marketing consultant for Google and nurturing quality B2B leads focusing on three product categories:

The Italian Chamber of Commerce, based in London, was founded in 1886. It has been a bond between Italy and the United Kingdom, promoting business and trade in the European sphere.
My duties:
• Promote Italy and Italian Businesses in the UK on social media, websites and blogs
• Attend trade fairs/exhibitions to speak with Italian business and assist in increasing international business between the UK and Italy
• Use social media marketing to promote our events, as well as, CMS design on our website and social media to promote the companies
• Communicate with Public Relation companies and newspapers, sending out press releases and giving information for interviews
• E-mail marketing to a large number of members and subscribers, measuring the results, analysing, gathering leads and creating sales.
• Analyse the monthly Google Analytics report to identify the opportunity in online advertising
• Manage the team of trade analysts to achieve various tasks in trade, business, online marketing and communications
• Communicate with Italian government officials working with Assocamerestero (Le Camere di Commercio Italiane all'Estero - CCIE), the local chambers of commerce (La Camera di Commercio)

I was in charge of recruiting individuals to fill roles for our clients. The clients were based not just in the UK, but all over the world. The clients were looking for candidates of exceptional quality and sometimes flexibility. Recruiting the perfect candidates for the client was imperative.


The tasks included:
• Marketing on our website and social media to find the right client
• Analysing the candidate’s education, professional experience and work ethic to fit the client’s requirements.
• Scheduling and executing interviews with candidates to further assess their potential as being the right candidate for the position
• Verifying qualifications, CRB check and First Aid certificates
• Contacting References to make sure that all previous experiences are verified
• Finalising the match of the candidate to the client to ensure that they are right for the position
• Preparing profiles of candidates to send to clients detailing all the relevant information
• Sending profiles to clients and following up with the candidate in regards to the interview process
• Clients were in located in the UK, but also Austria, Russia, the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia
The position taught me the absolute importance of recruitment using a mix of various internal databases and online marketing.

Working at Convergys, I had the responsibility of representing our clients Comcast, Road Runner and Time Warner in technical, billing and sales aspects.
