Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management

Working on Active Directory accounts, configuration of Desktop & Laptop computer

Configuration and maintenance of CCTV / DVR
Configuration and maintenance of network printing and multi-function devices
Duties and Responsibilities • Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage client IT support staff • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure • Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide • Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions; oversee the overall backup strategy and daily operations for secure backups and restore testing • Consolidated, deployed and monitored back office servers and NAS storage, Windows domain infrastructure, directly supporting internal staff workstations and laptops. • Configure IP telephone system based on the client requirements • Compiled and updated hardware and software systems, assets, and solutions documentation. • Manage, maintain and update onsite and customer site copiers, printers • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues • Check regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing
system standards
* Evaluate existing applications, data, hardware and other systems of clients in order to recommend
enhancements
* Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture
* Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
* Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
* Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
* Monitor and maintain network structures of clients using networking monitoring software application
(MRTG/PRTG)
* Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
* Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
* Assist Sales staff of the company in technical information they need for the client
* Support administration of firewall environments in line with client IT security policy
* Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
* Preparing UAT/As-built plan for every project finished
* Testing of copper/fiber cable using fluke test machine for standard connectivity termination
