32.4 MLD Effluent Treatment treating PTA effluents, has Anaerobic treatment using Up flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) Technology followed by Aerobic treatment using Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) and followed by 45 MLD Recycle Facility using Membrane Technologies of Ultra Filtration(UF)and Reverse Osmosis(RO)
Key Responsibilities
Leading a team to optimize operations and maintenance of ETP Plant to ensure 100 % plant availability for Effluent treatment and recycle to meet dispatch quality, quantity and energy consumption requirements
Developing O&M organization chart, staff qualification and requirement, and plan recruitment for their report to work promptly
Reviewing and approving standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance of ETP and Recycle
Reviewing and approving improvement work for plant and system optimization to achieve better Treatment and recycle production, quality and cost
Main contact person for liaising with Owner for all issues related to operations and maintenance of ETP and associated water recycle Plant promptly and in a professional manner
Reviewing and approving various monthly progress reports to Owner with accurate information and data. Ensuring proper record of all documentations are kept
Overseeing EHS system implementation to ensure no environmental, health and safety violations
Overseeing and coordinating the day to day running of projects by assisting project manager
Involved in the development, updating and monitoring of project action plans.
Dealing with various agencies at various stages for the smooth running of the project
Reviewing design, PFD, P&IDs, basic sizing calculation of equipment for the engineering and coordinating with projects & engineering department
Preparing Techno-Commercial Bids/offers after preliminary study of the enquiry and the basic scope of supply & concept of system
Preparing detailed technical & commercial offer along with compliance/deviation statement
Techno-commercial clarification with the client (after evaluation by client)
Commissioning & Pre-operational phase
Participated in joint HAZOP study with consultant to ensure the operability and maintainability (alarm management, safe isolation, draining and cleaning) of equipment
Validated the commissioning and startup plan for my assigned areas
Successfully lead the operating team in the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities from P&ID review, punch point evaluation, attending progress meeting with consultant and contractors
Operations and Maintenance
Executed the operation plan and ensuring manpower availability in carrying out tasks including control and trouble shooting
Monitored the operation and evaluated plant production output, efficiency and related variables and guiding in resolution of abnormal operational situations and root cause analysis for any deviation and writing work instructions and procedure manuals
Optimized Refinery utilities operations, environmental performance, energy efficiency, operating cost and reliability
Coordinated with project department, design & engineering for new expansions or for facility up gradations
Coordinated with the maintenance department for planned maintenance activities for various maintenance plans
Responsible for implement and maintain safety practices of refinery
Responsible for monitoring and following up for CAPEX and OPEX budget
Imparted and assisted in the development, administration and implementation of a comprehensive training program for the department staffs
Responsible for the performance management and development of assigned personnel, including: employee evaluation and coaching.
Actively participated in the commissioning of the utility units and contributed towards ensuring the operability and maintainability of equipments by participating in HAZOP study
Prepared and reported daily and monthly production reports for utility units
Overall responsible for production and troubleshooting in shift.
Coordinated with maintenance for preventive and scheduled maintenance
Prepared SOP for normal and non-regular operations
Carried out small scale maintenance of the equipments as a part of TPM
Maintained safety guidelines during operations and maintenance work for equipments and personnel and Evaluated Kaizens submitted by operators
Ensured adherence to quality standards Implementation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) and maintaining all related documents.
Evaluated tender documents and equipment list for vendor supply & manufacturing from outside agencies.
Coordinated with equipment supplier for suggestion and offers
