Responsible for Plant Accounts of production value Rs. 2, 400 crores pa, MIS Reports, Salary of 1500+ employees & 2500 contract workers, Statutory Compliance(excise, vat, PF, ESI, etc) Supplier payments, Shipping & Logistics production & dispatch of 40, 000 tyres/day. Currently also responsible for Costing profile.

Monitoring and controlling Material Utilisation of all products,
Monitoring downgrades of WIP Compounds, Green Tyres,
Monitoring scrap variances for efficient use of RM & compounds .

Ensure compliance of Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT, Labour Laws, Factory's Act etc.
• Shipping & Logistics
Ensure uninterrupted dispatch of Finished Goods, 40, 000 tyres per day on FIFO basis
Ensure dispatched as per plan & allocation received from Marketing
Maintain liaison with operations for proper production so as to ensure maximum allocation wise dispatch & minimum of non-moving Finished Goods.
•Stores
Ensure maintenance of Raw Material & Spares stock at optimum level on FIFO basis
To ensure avoidance of stock out situation

•Projects/New initiatives
Have successfully converted all manual vendor payments & salary payments to electronic mode. First among all MRF plants to do so & has the highest percentage of e-payments among all plants.
Successfully arranged for cash disbursements for 3500+ workmen during demonetization period for two consecutive months to avoid man-day loss by workmen while standing in bank queues.
Successfully changed payment process to casual truck loaders, resulting in better loading efficiency & lesser turnaround time for outbound & inbound trucks

•Managing the complete functioning of Accounts Receivables Section entailing:
- Generation of various MIS Reports to be used by the sales team across the country.
- Issuance of credit notes in compliance with the SLA with Product Divisions.
- Monitoring of various schemes for Lighting, DAP & Consumer Electronics Service Divisions.
- Computation of Performance Remuneration of All India Consumer Electronics Service Centres.
- Implementing various control points as prescribed by Sarbanes Oxley Act & Philips

- Monitoring the controls as implemented, for Accounts receivable function.
•Ensuring proper control & execution of all FOREX transactions related to exports through:
- Documentation & collection of export proceeds in coordination with bankers.

- Monitoring & effecting collection of hedged amounts in liaison with bankers.
•Lead the team in taking over of Sales Tax matters of the four regional offices of the Fiscal Department of Philips India, & from Shared Service Centre entailing:
- Collection of Sales Tax Forms from branches; handling sales tax assessment work.
- Computation of payment for all states & union territories of India.
- Issuance & collection of ‘C’ and ‘F’ Forms of all four regions.
- Ensuring authenticity of the collections & issuance via ERP (JD Edwards) System
•- Preparation of Monthly Cash forecast & regular monitoring of the same

Managed the accounting work of Business Group Lighting Electronics and Mohali Light Factory:
- Finalisation of annual accounts; coordinating in statutory & internal audits.
- Performing monthly, quarterly, yearly, and statutory & Tax closing for the Trial Balance of above mentioned units.
- Preparation of various monthly, quarterly & annual MIS & reports.
- Reporting of monthly results with analysis as per Philips norms to product divisions.
- Complete control & monitoring of all the accounts of the business.
