Aiming for the best design using the process and mechanical design knowledge of the equipments and proposing the best design.
Hands on experience in arriving and designing schemes for different type of effluents in both Water and Wastewater.
With two different field experience a good knowledge on overall water and wastewater subject is attained.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN VATECH WABAG LIMITED
Handling of department activities.
To analyze the various parts of tender and preparing the pre-bid queries and discussing with the management on the critical issues.
Expertise in design and estimation and ensuring the requirements of tender are met.
Providing inputs to designer for doing the Process Instrumentation Diagram and Process Flow Diagram.
Collection of data from various departments and vendors regarding the design and estimation. Also providing the optimum design inputs for other disciplines.
Doing the comparisons and providing the feedback and backup documents to the management on the Technical and Commercial side in
a. Operating Cost
b. Chemical Cost
c. Power Cost
d. Space provision
Roles and responsibilities are well changed from my first organization and main process involved is designing of Sewerage treatment plants and effluent treatment plants, which involves the technologies like Activated sludge treatment, A2O process etc are well studied and understood during this course of time.
Involved in HAZOP study of Reliance project where as a process engineer I have given the responsibility of leader and as well as scribe
Involved in doing the study of the sludge management and its potential in India and various technologies available for achieving a right solution.
Doing Basic engineering package i.e. detail Process design calculations, Process instrumentation diagram, Equipment list, Head loss calculations, Scrutinizing of Mechanical GA diagrams, Data sheets and Layout.
Projects Handled : In the span of 1 year handled 3 projects worth of 1200 Crores ( OWSSB - 3 Packages, JBF - Mangalore refinery, Qatar - Industrial STP) and 2 Basic engineering packages ( DJB - Pappankalan STP 20 MGD, RIL - C2 ETP plant 2 x 8.4 MLD).
- Stream lining of Enquiry approach analysis (EAA) and selecting the suitable scheme and strategy by discussing with marketing and proposal leads.
Preparing the action plan for the given amount of project.
Preparing the mass balance and scheme with the available water analysis, by keeping the options of recycling of more water where some of the projects are been designed for Zero Liquid Discharge
Doing the equipment design based on the knowledge and selecting the equipments from Pre - treatment which involves equipments like Screening, Clarification, Filtration and Ultra
Filtration etc and TDS reduction which involves technologies like Reverse Osmosis System and De mineralization system and Post treatment which involves technologies like Mixed Bed, Electro De Ionization system.
- Expertise in running the software and optimizing the membrane and resin using DOW software’s.
- Preparing the process flow diagram, and from the PFD providing the inputs to auto cad for doing the P&ID.
- Preparing the technical offer and attending for the meetings with the customer and getting the approvals for the submitted documents.
- Sending the vendor enquiries and reviewing them and scrutinization the quotations both technically and commercially, if needed taking the advice from purchase department.
- Preparing the BOQ and doing the best costing by using the prices from the vendors and even cross checking from the project team and from previous projects for the related items.
- After award of project giving all the inputs to the project team in the form of POC, even after the handing over to the project team, attending the issues if needed.
- Projects Handled: Handled 18 projects including Live and Budgetary in the span of 2 years and won 6 projects.
