Management Accountant’s Reporting
1. Preparation of month-end P&L, BS, Cash flow including the flash reports for Owner company and combined reports with operator company and other reports necessary for the group consolidation.
2. Participating and contributing in the strategic review and planning including preparation of yearly budget for owner company and consolidated budget with operator companies of Ain Dubai and Dubai Arena.
3. Reviewing and challenging the performance reports submitted by the operator companies and preparing the consolidated monthly performance review PPT deck & related reports for the senior management review regarding the key performance indicators including any additional meaningful insight and practical recommendations for the decision making.
4. Coordinating and Supporting Treasury, Financial Analysis and Budgeting, Compliance and Reporting department for their various requirements including Working capital management, implementation of IFRS, Quarterly and yearly audits, ad-hoc reports, forecasting and Budgeting and IC reconciliations.
5. Liaising with Internal and External Auditors, Banks, IT consultants, Other Group Business Units for the various requirements of Ain Dubai and Dubai Arena in coordination with operator companies finance team and other functions of finance.

General Ledger Accounting & Finalization
1. Accounting of month end Journal Vouchers, prepaid entries, and accruals for Owner company and Loading the TB of operator company in the operator’s books-maintained Owners side in Oracle using the TB mapping and pass necessary adjustment entries in operators’ books.
2. Ensuring compliance with IFRS, specifically, IFRS 9, 15, 16, 21, IAS 16 and IAS 36.
3. Migrating the books of accounts of owner companies and operator companies from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion. (Including UAT, Validation of data and Error fix).
4. Preparing the requisite details and coordinating with compliance department as per UAE VAT laws for monthly VAT filing.
5. Liaising with FA accountant to Account Additions and Deletions FA valuation, Depreciation and Amortization and Impairment of various assets of Ain Dubai and Dubai Arena.
6. Advice the operators for their queries on various accounting issues in coordination with various functions of finance.

Project Payments and Payable Accounting.
1. Reviewing the payment request raised by the operator companies for the day to day transactions, submit the payments for the approval based on bank mandate and give necessary clarifications to the approver.
2. Preparing the progress payments for the project payments by collating and combining the documents from various departments including validating the payment with the development budget.
3. Accounting of the invoices and payments in owners’ book by liaising with purchase department for completing the processes relating to PO.
4. Reviewing the Purchase requisition and purchase orders liaise with purchase department and Project managers to understand the nature of transaction and suggest the appropriate accounting codes to be used to raise the PR for various departments.
5. Preparing the weekly cash forecast for project payments and day to day operations including raising the cash call requests for large batch payments from the treasury department.
6. Liaising with operators and Treasury department for operator’s cash call requirements.
7. Liaising with various BU’s under DH to settle the IC payments for both owner and operator companies.

Others
1. Carrying out monthly IC reconciliations and ensuring that the transactions are entered in both the sides for avoiding the mismatch during reporting.
2. Following up the internal audit log pending actions by coordinating with BU’s under DHE and give necessary clarification to the IA for the pending actions.
3. Providing cross team and cross BU support and supporting other departments on finance team’s behalf.

Receivables Accounting
1. Accounting and posting credit note accounting entries into the software. Monitoring and reviewing the work of receivables accountants to ensure that invoices are prepared and sent on a timely basis.
2. Debtors ageing calculation and BD provision calculation using an ECL matrix in compliance with IFRS 9.
3. DSO calculation, monitoring and reporting including detailed scrutiny of long outstanding AR accounts and matching of unallocated cash.
