Making sure that Information Security Management System (ISMS) is being deployed properly in the NOC department.
• Update Current Standards to the new Standards ISO 27001:2013.
• Ensuring MeduNet’s Datacenter is to be complied with ISO 27001:2013 standards.
• Be responsible for developing the Information System Security Policies, Standards and guidelines for use throughout the Organization. These policies and standards must be kept up-to-date, reflecting changes in technology, business direction and potential threats.
• Understand the current information processing technologies, information protection methods and controls and remain current/up-to-date on the threats against the information assets.
• Assist in responding to the security issues relating to the customers including the letters of assurance and suitable to the questions on information systems security, as and when raised by the customers.
• Review audit and examination reports dealing with the information security issues. The information security officer must be involved in the formulation of the management’s response to the audit findings and follow-up to ensure that the security controls and procedures, as required, are implemented within the stipulated time frame.
Main Responsibilities:
• Network Operation Center responsibilities (NOC).
• Handle level 3 problems (escalated from level 2 support team).
• Designing and Implementing newly introduced MPLS backbone.
• Implementing and managing network Security for MeduNet’ s backbone
• Service Provider Infrastructure (MPLS, BGP, L2/L3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering, Quality of Service, Core Routing)
• Data Center Infrastructure Design and Deployment (MPLS, BGP, IGP, Nexus, 6500, 7600, Core Routing, Service Provisioning)
• Implement and monitor network performance (Cacti, Nagios and Cisco Works) and up-time of network services.
• Team member to apply ISO 27001:2005 standards for MeduNet’s backbone.
• Consult and Implement projects for serviced client network.
• Modify Network configuration to add new network services, remove unnecessary or expired services and enhance existing services while maintaining firewall security policy.
Main Responsibilities:
• Handle level 3 problems (escalated from level 2 support team).
• Guide and supervise level 2 support team to enhance their troubleshooting skills.
• Supporting all Cisco products for implementing and troubleshooting and integrating it.
• Troubleshoot and help in solving any problem related to adding Cisco devices.
• Verify the hardware, software and configurations of the newly added devices based on the project documentation as well as Cisco recommendations.
• Maintain and Troubleshoot networks hardware or software problems.
• Maintain and Troubleshoot computer hardware or software problems.
Internship. Duties include:
• One month as technical support in EUS section.
• Two months in core section (constructing and managing windows 2003 domain, server monitoring).
• Three months in infrastructure & network section (design, implementation, network resources (routers, switches) and studying costs.
Internship. Duties include End-Using Support (EUS)
computer installation & troubleshooting and provide technical support.
