• Develop, implement and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process related to buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material and associated cost elements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand
• Prepare customer delivery reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and uses information to proactively communicate potential late deliveries
• Establish and supervise production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
• Achieve financial objectives by working with management group to prepare the materials budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB meetings to resolve quality issues working with both internal and external resources.
• Performs analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute build to order and build to forecast plans.

• Supervise 2 planners, providing training, assignment planning, and directions.

• Conduct a routine check of all planning activities, such as (raw materials availability, purchase orders processing, production progress “behind or ahead”, warehousing activities “FIFO/LIFO”, upcoming shipments / inbound, outgoing deliveries / outbound).

• Analyze sales history data and supplier lead times in order to determine accurate forecasts, and compute necessary quantities

• Maintain inventories of finished products (QOH) to ensure that the right inventory targets are established to meet customer service and also monitor products that are classified as "Make to inventory"‎.

• Review the current inventory level and point on obsolete stock and indicate slow movers and ensure that minimum stock level is maintained at all times

• Participate in creating feasible production plan taking into consideration available capacity, available labor and materials so that it best meets required delivery dates for our customers.

• Manages stock levels of inventory materials by applying advanced inventory control techniques

• Monitoring and updating free stock item forecasts, minimum and maximum stock levels, and replenishment lead times

• Recommends enhancements to existing ERP management system and participates in evaluation

• Communicate and coordinate corrective actions with warehousing, engineering, purchasing, and key customers

• Recommends improvements to materials management processes by identifying critical path problem areas

• Assist in monthly and yearly physical inventories.

• Act as the key liaison between sales/logistics and production to ensure shipping on time

• Implement the material requirements planning MRP techniques through effective usage of the plant MRP system to minimize inventories while assuring product availability based on EOQ (economic order quantity), lead time, safety stock, reorder point, inventory on hand & material on the way.

• Follow the company polices required to manage the inventory and to achieve the inventory targets using the most proper techniques.

• Writing detailed operating instructions "Job Orders" showing where job will be performed, ‎what tools / equipments needed, materials will be used, delivery windows, packaging instructions and authorization before production can begin.

• Update schedule, based on production performance / sales behavior on weekly basis, putting in account that any (delays, difficulties, changes or failures) are communicated in a timely manner to all contributed parties in order to ensure that all requirements are prepared well in advance.

• Frequently monitor the flow of information of more than 500 SKU, analyze the behavior of its fluctuated demand, study the performance of supply & recommend corrective actions/plans that will enhance the synchronization between the abnormal demand & capability of supply.
