Strategic Product Planning: Working closely with the global product planning and portfolio teams in head quarters in London and Taipei to identify new potential devices to be ranged in the Middle East and Africa region. This involves ensuring adherence to product management processes related to documentation, network compatibilities and certifications. Deep understanding of the region and cultural sensitivity while ensuring that the consumer mindset is top priority in product decisions.

Market Intelligence: Creating and analyzing specific Middle East and Africa reports to identify threats and opportunities prior to the introduction or creation of new models for the region. Utilizing the segmentation model and market intelligence to provide an understanding of the target segment variables / structures, segment characteristics, needs and behaviors, size of segment, pricing, benchmarking and regional market differences to effectively contribute to sales and marketing strategies and ensuring alignment to the central Europe, Middle East and Africa organization.

Product Portfolio Sell-in presentations - Public Relations and Media Spokesperson: Effectively delivering and presenting the HTC product strategy to the regional customers. This includes customizing unique presentations to each customer that showcases HTC's understanding of the region with the products that it is looking to range. In addition, providing key updates to operators/distributors and power retailers that help shape the growth of HTC within the region.

Go to market: Developing go to market plans for sales and marketing managers, by providing insights into the positioning of each product based on its unique specifications and against other competitors. Acting as the official certified trilingual (Native Arabic, French and English) product spokesperson for the region, delivering the product presentations to all technology and media journalists in roadshows and public relation events. Approving all marketing collateral across above and below the line with regard to translations of specification into Arabic. Also ensuring that the creative is sensitive to the culture of the Middle East and Africa region.

In life: Identifying and addressing any product issues affecting the regional customers. Managing in-life product repositioning, such as re-pricing, product changes, new color, material and finish introduction.

Cross Functional Relationship: Working closely with all internal stakeholders like regional and global commercialization product managers, global and central functions, sales and marketing managers, in order to monitoring, analyzing and reporting regional products performance at the customer throughout the life-cycle, identifying and addressing any performance issues from both a regional and customer perspective in order to facilitating the growth of HTC’s share of portfolio.

Learning and Development: Overlooking and monitoring the HTC Middle East and Africa regional training strategy with direct management of the training team. Hiring, guiding, assessing and coaching those trainers while identifying areas of improvements across on the job, classroom and online platforms.

Maintained a leadership position for the successful design, implementation and delivery of product training certifications for the Middle East and Africa region over the rest of the world.
