• Developing systems for effective and efficient communication and best practice sharing within the country office.
• Developing and implementing annual Communication Plan.
• Providing leadership for overall communications related to Right To Play in country of operation.
• Ensuring all communication materials and messages are in-line with project grant agreements.

• Conducting media development activities in country to build capacity of local media, and advocate for the role of sport

• Promoting partnerships across the organization and beyond, and represents RTP on all relevant communication
networks.
• Accompanying and supporting high-profile visitors to the country when delegated.
• Assisting in the Production of a 30 minute - long HRCRT Training Video for UNRWA teachers in the organisation’s five fields of operation (Jordan, West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon);
• Assisting in the production of the Education department’s visibility video as part of the department’s communication strategy with its stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and monitoring of an online community for information sharing among teachers;
• Supporting the HRCRT team in day-to-day tasks;
• Supporting HRCRT Monitoring and Evaluation by compiling and analysing data from the Fields on HRCRT Policy
dissemination and training of teachers on the HRCRT Toolkit;
• Supporting HRCRT communications and advocacy activities; drafting advocacy materials to promote human rights
education, including newsletters and child-friendly documents;
• Providing support with translating and editing HRCRT materials (Arabic and English);
• Assisting in the planning and execution of HRCRT training workshops and any other HRCRT related events;
• Providing support in admin tasks, including drafting of TORs and coordinating with the Admin unit regarding
procurement, contracting and budgetary issues.
I worked in the global Media Services department in the production of news reports for Middle-Eastern Satellite Television Stations. My duties included:
-> Real-time coordination of satellite feeds with offices and clients around the world thoroughly improving my communication skills and ability to work under pressure
-> News-gathering/research of news to cover
-> Daily report writing, analysis and description of news packages
-> Liaising with correspondents, bureaus and operators on the field to discuss editorial and technical requirements insuring tight deadlines are met whilst maintaining high-quality standards
-> Working in a team alongside reporters, editors and producers to deliver high quality news reports
-> Coordinating and delivering news packages to international news agencies of different backgrounds and cultures
-> Working in an international environment with people of different backgrounds and ethnicities has enhanced my respect for diversity and appreciation of different cultures and traditions
-> This position has enhanced my multi-tasking, interpersonal and communication capacities
