Recruitment & Selection
Build the Recruitment & Selection function under the direction of the HRM
Develop recruitment strategy including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job boards, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, and talent planning.
Manage and apply the recruitment process from inception to closing of the vacancy; sourcing, shortlisting and interviewing candidates within the agreed timeline to close a vacancy
Draft various recruitment and selection policies
Develop competencies based selection and conduct competency-based interviews and use appropriate assessment methods
Develop competency-based assessment and testing criteria for recruitment
Develop and execute talent sourcing plans and develop manpower plans
Create a selection process using tests and assessment centers
Conduct job analysis and write job descriptions as per Hay Group methodology capturing the key responsibility areas and competencies and update organizational structures in order to maintain clarity of roles and responsibilities as per HR guidelines
Develop an exhaustive on-boarding program ensuring proper employees’ integration and communication of company’s values
Participate in the on-boarding of new joiners by preparing welcome kits and/ or any relevant material to maintain a good integration process
Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the process.
Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers.
Present job offers and counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary and corporate environment.
Conduct reference checks and /or send regret letters to candidates to close the recruitment cycle
Manage the recruitment module to track applicants through the selection phase through to the on-boarding on the HRIS.
Market Holdal as employer of choice, building and maintaining relations with external parties such as universities, colleges, recruitment agencies and other sources of potential candidates in order to enhance the corporate employment.
Handle the “Join Us” page on the corporate website as well as the corporate LinkedIn page
Build Recruitment reports and metrics
Review role, responsibilities and structures to identify potential duplication of roles / optimization possibilities
Employee Relations
Contribute to building strong employee relations and providing a first class customer service to Holdal employees
Manage poor performers as per the company’s policy
Prepare and handle the climate survey to measure organizational effectiveness
Counsel employees on performance issues to improve performance
Draft various employee relations policies
Enhance interface between HR and operations
Handle disciplinary issues as per company’s policy
Enhance HR communication in order to send the right message across employees
Organize social activities and maintain award programs
Conduct exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management
Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices
Handle conflict management issues.
Coordinate and facilitate grievance procedures
Conduct investigations of employees for disciplinary matters, write reports regarding the investigations and make discipline recommendations
Change Management Team
Create a strong corporate culture and help deliver the vision, mission and strategic goals of the company
Manage the Change Management Team within the company
Follow-up on all change management team ( CMT) activities, and act as change agent
Develop the yearly and monthly plan of activities of the CMT
Initiate a CMT Plan that includes different social activities to recognize/ motivate employees
Manage and implement the CMT activities in order to create the needed culture at the organization
Personnel:
• Monitor employee attendance, leaves and vacation balances, and staff loans, in order to issue monthly payroll in coordination with accounting department
• Carry necessary calculation for employee pensions
• Handle NSSF and Ministry of Labor papers with NSSF delegate
• Issue income letters, recommendation letters, memos, announcements and various attestations
• Coordinate with Group Medical department to issue medical insurance for new employees
• Maintain and update employees’ personnel files on HRIS
• Prepare various HR reports including turnover, head count and transportation reports
Recruitment:
• Draft job descriptions for new positions and update previously existing ones
• Create procedure flow charts and organizational charts
• Implement recruitment process including screening of CVs, conducting preliminary interviews and reference checks
• Coordinate with various recruitment and training agencies
• Create orientation program and perform on-boarding process for new hires
• Conduct exit interviews and ensure proper off boarding
Performance Management and Training:
• Assist HR Manager in performance appraisal, employees merit rating and increment letters
• Manage the internship program
• Conduct Training Need Analysis
• Coordinate with training agencies and venues for external trainings
HR Projects:
• Assist in the Employee Engagement Survey
• Draft action plan for Organizational Health in coordination with colleagues
• Coordinate with Compliance department to ensure that there is no breach of code of conduct
• Create Employee Handbook and presented it to management
• Handle all corporate social responsibility donations and recycling initiative
• Organize company events such as Children Christmas Party, Annual Lunch, and awards ceremony
• Represent Lebanon in the EMEA mini projects which includes informal listening, leadership, and recognition
• Maintained and updated the personnel of the Corporate Staff on the HRIS
• Monitored the attendance of employees on the HRIS, handled employee vacations, and issued related reports
• Coordinated with payroll to issue monthly salary through issuing employee attendance reports
• Issued various employee letters including CNSS attestation and letters of recommendation
• Developed an Employee Resource Guideline
• Created job descriptions in order to present to management
• Executed the recruitment and selection process through screening CVs, calling for interviews and preparing interview evaluation reports
