Job Description: Implementation and monitoring of Safe, Health, and environmental policy to maintain safe and injury-free of the plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To coordinate, monitoring, implementation of the requirements of Marafiq HSE
manual and arrange continues and formal daily safety monitoring to ensure
compliance and effectiveness.
• Prepare regular toolbox meeting, safety letters and monitor the appropriate
cascading of safety information.
• To liaise with and support area engineers / supervisors to promote safety
awareness in their area of control.
• To detect, identify, analyze, control and eliminate recognized hazardous acts,
condition, behavior and violation.
• To investigate and report immediate in writing all accident, unsafe acts /
conditions. Near misses occurred at work site and the report shall be submitted to contractor project supervisor, Marafiq sponsoring department manager and
Loss Prevention Division.
• Review completed risk assessments & monitor for implementation.
• Monitoring correct use of safety barriers solid (e.g. covering holes / open
handrail) and soft (e.g. isolating areas w/ warning tape), including timely
removal.
• To co-ordinate with Marafiq Safety Representatives and set, the safety
inspection schedule as required and report / correct findings immediately.
• To audit and record "on the job" and toolbox talks by supervisors.
• Provide & submit risk assessment to Marafiq shift supervisor requesting for PTWC
issuance.
• Provide & arrange lifting plan associated with AutoCAD drawing & details of lifting plan procedure and submit it to safety department of Marafiq prior to
obtain the PTWC and support from MSS (Marafiq Support Service) for providing the Mobile Crane.
• Site inspection for work permits to ensure provide daily before commencing
any job as per daily schedule & check any discrepancies on safety
requirements as written on the PTWC.
• Maintain a cost effective inventory level of Personal Protection Equipment
(PPE)
• Control and documentation of the issuance of Personal Protection Equipment.
• Closing of service orders using SAP system.
• Identifies safety issues and, as necessary, submits report with corresponding
recommendation of corrective action, control measure to the proponent.
• Monitor daily status of housekeeping in the entire premises and submits daily
report to the project supervisor & Marafiq HVAC supervisor.
• Implements company standards on risk management controls.
• Authorize to issue work stoppage when hazardous conditions exist that could
immediately result to personal injury or serious damage to equipment or building.
• Responsible to communicate to all Zamil CoolCare employee's HS&E Safety
policy and procedures through HS&E orientation, training sessions & publication.
• Conducts safety audit.
• Performs weekly safety toolbox meeting & safety issues to the personnel using
PowerPoint presentation.
• Monitors & assists safe operation and compliance to Marafiq standard for the safe use of hoist and lifting devices, Industrial Trucks (FL), Mobile Crane and
submit report to supervisor.
• Ensures that portable fire extinguishers are maintained cost-effectively through constant monitor, bi-monthly inspection, and pulling out empty fire extinguishers for outside shop refill & maintain record of the same.
• Provides technical assistance to investigations concerning suspected
hazardous materials, protective measures to be taken and other questions concerning hazardous materials.
SPARE PARTS EXPEDITER & LOGISTICS MAN, September 25 - December 10, 2006.
Project Location: Atlas Copco (Mining Technique) - Mapula Project (Apex Mining),
Teresa, Masara, Maco, Comval Province, Philippines
Job Description: Overall in-charge in expediting & documenting of consignment
spare parts of ATLAS COPCO (Mining Technique division) to supply the APEX mining equipments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Arrange & submit weekly & monthly accomplishment maintenance report to the concern mine supervisors of APEX Mining.
• In-charge in providing the official documents to APEX personnel for every
requisition of spare parts for Drill Rig, LPT Truck, and LHD Truck & Wagner parts.
• Conduct inventory level for all consignment spare parts.
• Responsible for office works such as computer encoding, purchase requisition, and issuing of materials and other documentation.
• Assisted Atlas Copco HE mechanic in responding a call from client to render
initial & corrective maintenance to rectify the defective & stall mining heavy
equipment such as LPT, LHD & Jumbo Drill (Boomers)
• Responsible & in-charge in preparing the monthly consignment parts billing to be submit at finance office of APEX mining.
