Scope of Works:
Engineering, General Construction Works ($ 25, 000 to $ 5, 000, 000 Magnitude Projects)
Projects Location: United States of America Military/Air force Base in Qatar.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Responsibilities:
Preparation of presentation and proposal drawings during bidding period.
Conduct site visit to get actual measurements.
Making design drawings according to statement of work.
Preparation of shop drawings in different discipline (Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Fire Alarm,
Telecommunications, Plumbing and HVAC).
Attend meetings and discuss comments/variation or changes on the drawings.
Revised all drawings according to consultant comments.
Ensure all shop drawings are approved before releasing a copy to the construction site.
Conduct site inspection and update drawings to ensure all changes in actual construction are mark
and reflected on the As-Built drawings.
Ascertain that all as per directed time schedules for accomplishment of direly needed plans and
drawings are delivered on time or even earlier.
Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities:
Preparation of Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
Preparation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
Preparation of Risk Assessment, Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) or Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Site Inspections, HSE Audits & Investigations.
Attend all preconstruction meeting and discuss safety concerns on the project.
Attend weekly coordination meeting with the consultant and owner to discuss safety issues of the
projects.
Attend preparatory meetings to discuss Activity Hazard Analysis of every definable feature of
works.
Identifies and appraises condition which could produce accident and financial losses.
Plan and execute tool box meetings.
Develop waste management program.
Risk Analysis & Mitigation Plans.
Other Responsibilities:
Preparation of material submittals.
Project estimate for Civil and Architectural items. Preparation of BOQ.
Preparation of project baseline schedule.
Prepare progress report.
Scope of Works:
Supply, Fabrication and Installation of Interior Fit-out, Cladding, Floor and Ceiling Finishes and
Furniture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of drawings by 3D-visualzation and perspective rendering.
Designing of fixation and connection details.
Conducting site visit to verify actual dimensions.
Attending coordination meeting with the consultant and other contractors.
Preparing and revising of shop drawings as per consultant comments and site condition.
Preparation of material submittals as per the project requirements for approval.
Looking for material suppliers and get quotation for General Manager’s approval.
Prepare project baseline schedule.
Preparations of two weeks look ahead.
Update project schedule.
Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for General Manager’s approval.
Preparation of Safety Plan and Quality Control Plan for the project.
Supervision of people in the fabrication warehouse and on construction site.
Report directly to the General Manager.
