• Maintaining the Quality standards as per NABH requirement for the entire hospital
operations and management.
• Planning, Coordinating, Guiding Quality control programs designed to ensure
continuous improvement in patient care and health care in conformance to all
established standards
• Set quality standards for the hospital, based on the common medical protocols
• Initiating and assuring compliance with quality management systems relating to o National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers
(NABH)
o National Accreditation Board for Laboratory (NABL)
o National Assess and Accreditation Council (NAAC)
• Coordination with the departmental Heads to guide, and facilitate total quality
management tools & approaches: supporting analytical and reporting processes in all departments.
• Develop and analyze Statistical data and specifications to determine present
standards and establish proposed quality and reliability as per SOPs
• Monitor the various department staff in order to ensure continuous control over
SOPs and ensure corrective actions.
• Responsible to liaise and co-operate with quality management and standard
bodies, consultants and take care of the personnel when they come for inspection etc.
• Review the work of the staff members and check compliance with the quality
criteria provided training to the juniors and oriented them with NABH accreditation
programmes.
• Carried out NABH auditing for every department
• To help create signage, work instructions, manuals and necessary for the health
workers.
• Interface with Administrator for all Operational issues.
• Introduced Patient Feedback system in the hospital
• Part of Hospital Fire Safety Survey Team.
• Organize various camps like: Blood donation camp, Health check-up camps
• Supervise ward secretaries, administration staff and other personnel
• Looking after both Medical and Non- medical operations.
• To carry out an audit and mock-drills for the facility.
• Monitoring the insurance process, discuss with team and take appropriate steps to speeding up insurance process.
• Liaison with a statutory bodies connected with Hospital like Pollution control
board, Government bodies etc. matters regarding waste management, blood bank
etc.
• Part of top management committees like NABH core committee, Purchase
committee, Grievance -redressal committee, Safety committee, Patient feedback
committee, Clinical Audit committee etc.
• To study the equipment and instruments availability, functionality and there
maintenance.
• To identify senior and potential trainers from within the facilities at the Hospital.
• Training module will be developed based on the TNA and the accreditation
standards of NABH.
• To analyze patient satisfaction surveys, employee satisfaction surveys and hospital
utilization rates.
