Description of work: • Teaching of under and post-graduate students. Courses include silviculture, urban forestry, basic statistics, biostatistics and experimental designs.
• Supervision of research projects and research work of under and post-graduate students.
• Internal examiner for post-graduate students in the CNRES of the University of Bahri (and University of Juba) and external examiner for post-graduate students in the faculties of agriculture and forestry of the University of Khartoum.
• Provision of consultancy services in forestry planning and research (in silviculture, urban forestry and agroforestry); and in statistics and capacity building to different institutions and organizations.
• Current research interest: derivation of statistical models to quantify environmental effects of urban trees.
