Saudi Telecom Group is a leading provider of technology services (landline, mobile, internet services and
Computer network) required for businesses and organizations worldwide.
QMS manager and Acting Head of Department (17) accountable for developing processes and
procedures as well as ISO requirements.
Led the Quality team in conducting 14 Gap Analysis Workshops for all General Directorates to define
the gap between the current working practices and ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
Directed the Quality Management team in the development of Quality processes to resolve process
conflicts between the 7 General Directorates of the Network Sector.
Coordinated the delivery of 13 workshops for the 7 General Directorates to define the core functions
and deliverables of the operation.
Led the team in establishing the Quality Management System (QMS) for the quality department in
accordance with ISO 9001:2008.
Key Achievements
Improved the availability of quality management system requirements from 48% to 70% to enable the
network sector to achieve ISO.
Played an integral role as QMS auditing existing department processes and identifying major and minor
discrepancies to enable Saudi Telecom to gain the ISO 9000 accreditation.
Selected to represent the network sector at the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in 2008.
Developed strategic management processes, enhanced critical business processes such as customer
complaints, and planned strategic initiatives to enhance systems.
Developed quality objectives, action plans, and a monitoring system to improve quality awareness.
Led a team of 7 employees including consultants, acting as department head with oversight of 15
employees.
Monitored mobile network performance indicators and provided network performance and analysis to support
engineering and operations activities.
Analyzed network characteristics including network performance metrics, capital and operational
efficiency trends, and provided recommendations for resolution.
Identified mobile network sites which exceeded thresholds and recommended solutions to network
optimization team.

Worked within the Training Department planning training sessions for the first 2 years before
progressing to Technical Network Analysis in the last 2 years.
Analysed trends and metric data to identify key areas that performed well and those that
underperformed.
Produced detailed reports providing insightful information regarding network peaks and through as well
as current trends.
Worked with cross-functional teams to monitor mobile network for early signs of technical or traffic
errors.
Participated in the season's team such as Ramadan and Hajj.

Worked within a team of 3 engineers to review all contractual obligations, delivered training, and
invoicing across several departments to successfully resolve training requirement conflicts.

Developed monthly production plans and worked closely with the sales (Production Planner).
Monitored the monthly balancing index (stock).
Participated in the sales, marketing, and production committee.
Played a key role in supporting the ISO Certification team.
Key Achievements
Audited existing department processes and identified major and minor discrepancies to enable Saudi
Ceramics to gain the ISO 9000 accreditation.
Reviewed and enhanced an incentive scheme introducing a quota for hours worked on the production
lines and reducing overtime worked by employees, which significantly reduced costs.
Appointed as Planning Head to work with a team of engineers and consultants introducing a water
heater factory to support the ceramics and sanitary wares factories. Built the new factory, imported
and commissioned machinery, and recruited factory teams to successfully establish and commission the
factory on time.
