QEHC is a relatively new entrant to the Saudi educational services space providing HE and vocational educational provision. As the senior academic in the organisation I oversaw a range of university programmes, including recruitment, managing budgets, managing quality-assurance and lead in partnership development. I was responsible educational strategy and articulating KPIs .
ILE is a division of Interserve PLC, one of the largest companies in the UK with a turnover of 1 billion GBP out of the Dubai office alone, and employing 80, 000 globally. I served as their educational director responsible for curriculum and quality assurance, including institutional effectiveness, for GCC operations. My work involved managing our academic provision across a network of 4 colleges. I managed the education budget (millions of GBP), line-managed via a matrix structure college principles and heads of department. My role was responsible for assessment and innovation, including digital and staff professional development. The final part of this role involved overseeing our quality assurance via quality improvement plans linked to KPIs and SMART objectives.
OUP is the worlds largest and oldest university press, a department of the University of Oxford and the world’s go-to-place for cutting-edge based digital and print based educational products. I worked with OUP on a licensed instance of D2L (desire to learn) a silicon-valley based digital platform. My role involved working with our key-account in Jeddah to provide a customised delivery for university-level Saudi students. I was part of the design-team and the key-contact for the account.
EDT is one of the world’s leading educational consultancy companies working with governments and international development agencies such as the World Bank and European Union. I served as the programme director in the design, development, delivery and subsequent data-led evaluation for a national programme for 30, 000 new teachers. I managed a 3 million USD budget and owned the project plan. I recruited and line managed a large team, which included overseeing curriculum development, and managing our relationships with government and academic stakeholders.
