1.Expansion of the portfolio by soliciting, negotiating, signing & implementing franchise and management agreements.
2. Implementing International building code, NFPA, ADA, Fire life and safety as well as mechanical electrical and plumbing, IT standards into each property.
3. Validating feasibility study provided by international third party consultants for each project and correcting as and when necessary.
4. Monitoring project costs by value engineering the major cost factors.
5. Evaluating construction tenders from cost and quality perspective.
6. Implementing space planning, architecture, interior design and fit out standards for each hotel.
7. Producing mock up room and site reviews for each property and participate in the property development report issuance.
8. Monitor time table for construction as well as deliverables at each stage.
9. Site supervision for each project.
10. Fit out and small operating equipment for each property.
11. Contributing to design of all back of house areas (kitchen, laundry, staff facilities, offices, stores etc…).
12. Interior and building signage package creation with design companies.
13. Providing design brief for each property.
14. Kick off meetings with contractors, design companies and fit out companies.
15. Pre-opening plan critical path, pre-opening budget and working capital establishment.
16. Recruiting and selecting the executive team for each hotel.
17. All pre-opening activities inc. marketing, staff uniforms, training, staff housing, dry run for opening as well as presence during testing and commissioning of each building.
18. Local authorizations for each property.
19. Daily management issues for each property.
20. Ensure that all GOP targets for each hotel are met after each opening.
