To impart Basic Occupational, Health and Safety at work instructions, Fire fighting and emergency preparedness and procedures with necessary guidelines with NEBOSH, OSHA 1974, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 Standards. To support and coordinate with line management’s responsibility of implementing Quality Safety Management Systems requirements with regards to environmental sustainability; hence, incorporating HSE policy in the day to day operations of the business unit.
 Prepare and circulate HSE reports to clients and contractors concerning HSE aspects.
 Coordinate Permit to work system for all non-routine tasks to reduce the risk of injury to personnel, damage to property, and the environment, by ensuring that the right people, with the right skills, with the right tools, perform their duty at the right place, at the right time.
 Ensure effective communication of HSE requirements and deficiencies to Line Management of respective SBU.
-Implement control and follow up of the Competence Program and on the Job Trainings.(OJT).
- Ensure that all HSE trainings comply with International HSE Safety regulations.
- Working with Line management to maintain and achieve OSHAS 18001:2008 compliance.
-Coordinate HSE trainings of employees in line with divisional and site specific training to ensure competency of the workforce.
