Ensure the safety and well-being of trainees by ensuring prescribed safety procedures and practice
•Administer written and practical exams and assess performance reports to evaluate trainee's performance.
•Ensure trainees receive statutory required training.
•Evaluate and document trainee's performance and comprehension of course materials, identifies trainees learning obstacles and develop action plans for resolution.
•Making sure that all training materials are prepared in advance for delegates as well as classrooms being fit for purpose i.e. general tidiness and layout
•Maintain up to date knowledge of current HSE and lifting operation standards and legislations relevant to course delivery and industry standard
Monitor operations, observe temperature level, and flow gauges and perform regular unit checks in order to ensure that all equipment is operating as it should
•Monitor process indicators, instrument gauges and meters in order to detect any defects and report possible challenges
•Start pumps, operate valves or use automated equipment to regulate the flow of product in pipelines and into and out tanks
•Operate control panels to coordinate and regulate process variables such as temperature and pressure and to direct product flow rate according to process schedules
Carry out health and safety inductions, trainings and orientations for all new beginners
•Ensure training, tool box meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company's onshore and offshore training and HSE program
•Ensure all work places are HSE compliance with company policies and safety standard
•Carry out HSE Management walk through meeting regularly on site to ensure health and safety policies are being adhered to
•Ensure risk assessment must be carried out with a complete method statement to put all the control measures in place and to prevent accident
•Ensure that accident will be investigated, identify the cause and the remedial actions are implemented
