Duties & responsibilities:

- Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

- Physical examination.

- Give all medication in all roots (intravenous, intramuscular and

  subcutaneous).

- Participate in the education, orientation of new nurses and

 development of all grades of staff.

- Maintaining confidentiality at all times in all matters pertaining to

 patient care and staff issues.

- Exhibit appositive attitude and willingness to facilitate unit

 function, productivity, and efficiency.

- Manage crisis and prioritizing according to the unit needs.

- Reporting any incidents occurred during my duty without delay

 and initiate action if needed.

- Carry out all doctors' orders and properly dispensed.

- Assist in chest tube insertion.

- Prepare and assist in lumber puncture.

- Prepare and assist in peritoneal and pulmonary tabbing.

- Able to attend and participate in multidisciplinary round.

- Have the ability to recognize any changes in patient

 condition, which need immediate reporting and action .

- Prepare patients for operation and received post

 operatively and take care of them.

- Managing the department in absents of the Head Nurse.

- Acting as clinical and managerial resource for the Unit.
