Projects: Worked as Project Engineer in Retail Automation Project for EPPCO, Dubai in association with Dresser Wayne. UK, DOMS. Denmark and Bizware, Canada. The Project consists of a PC-based service station management system for multi-product pumps, automated monitoring system, electronic price signs management, designed as modular system for individual requirements and extensions. My job involves inserting the ISM nucleus interface card in to the pc, install customized windows NT. Install the ism nucleus software and configure ism parameters. Configure scanner, cash box, printer, keyboard and display. Do testing with the pump simulator before staging the system. Install backoffice software and configure tcp/ip to communicate with the front office system. Install and configure modem to communicate with the HO system. Test whether the data from FO is properly sent to BO and check the integrity of data. Stage the system at the site and commission during off peak time. Interface ism software with Gilbarco pumps with DOMS interface. Configure the card reader and test the communication between the system and the bank. Giving technical support for 24 hrs
Programming in C and AutoLISP to automate the production of digital maps. Clean node errors and Creating topologies for GIS applications using Arccad. Creating views with ARCVIEW. Analyzing the integrity of digital data and rectification of errors. Liaising with stereo plotter operators and cartography operators to keep the consistency in map data.
