Head of Cards and ATM Projects
 Report to Head of Technology and Projects.
 Member in IT Projects Committee .
 Program Management.
 Leading several specialized Project Managers handling projects and initiatives related to :
 ATM, CDM and Payment system ( Cards Management System).
 ATM Software and ATM Switch.
 Payment Systems Gateway including VISA, Master Card and UAESWITCH
 Payment Cryptography system.
 ATM Multivendor Software ( KAL ) and related integrated systems.
 New Cards/ product releases, New BINs .
 VISA and MasterCard certification.
 Guiding and managing the implementation of multiple initiatives related to enhancement of the Banks information systems and processes.
 Coordinate with the respective teams in IT to ensure appropriate service level available for self service banking channel.
 Budget preparation and vendors management.
 Negotiating hardware and software purchases and maintenance contracts.
 Develop deployment approaches for rolling out enhancements and new services across ATM and CDM self service banking network.
 Monitoring and supporting the implementation of IT projects to ensure they are delivered according to approved standards and terms, and that they adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
 To manage business relation with the related various business departments.
 Coordinate with the respective vendors and development teams to develop and implement product enhancements as defined and communicated by respective business departments.
 Delegation of roles, responsibility and authority to the Projects Managers, who in turn administrate and manage project deliverables including hardware, software and infrastructure and new services development .
 Managing overall team Projects and ensure that resources are available and channeled to produce the planned deliverables on time and within the approved budget.
 Review and provide regular MIS reports & overall projects portfolio status to management .
 Oversee creation of business requirement documents and review to provide guidance to developers and operation team for support and maintenance activities.
 Identifying, monitoring and managing risks and barriers to project success and follows up with the relevant stakeholders on the mitigation actions to avoid impact on projects budget or time.
 Manage delivery either by vendor developers or internal IT development team to develop and deliver as per business needs and technical standards.
 Ensure all the activities comply with policies & procedures of IT Dept & the Bank.
 Ensuring necessary training and development initiatives are taken across the department unit.
Providing adequate support, guidance & motivation to the team members in order to ensure the achievement of assigned projects.
 Ensure completion of unit testing or SIT ( system integration Testing) and UAT ( user acceptance Testing ) ensure delivered software meets requirements. This includes coordinating with respective business teams to conduct end user testing.
 Evaluating related Hardware and software proposals and recommend most suitable solution to the bank that meets the bank requirements and IT strategy.
 Human Resource Management, Creating a harmonious working environment in all areas within
the section.
 Manage internal staff, external consultants/contractors and vendors in ensuring quality and on-time delivery of and successful implementation of the systems as well as contracted service agreements.
 Participating in developing the budget sheet for IT related projects .
 Liaise with Information Security Team to ensure developed software solutions are secure, and comply with respective standards and legislation.

• ATM Switch which connects all bank ATMs ( NCR and Wincor ) to the main core banking System and to Central Bank (via UAESwitch) and VISA International in London.

• Related management and monitoring systems.
• ATM/CDM network monitoring and taking all necessary actions to restore the service in case of any down time.

- Procurement of related hardware, software and maintenance products & services.
- Organizing the work as per the tasks and projects assigned to the section.
-Developing relevant procedures and processes for optimum service availability .
- Responsible for all related IT projects as per IT strategy to meet the required deadlines.
- Perform adequate measures to ensure compliance with the department quality objectives.
- Carry on the assigned tasks and projects as per the predefined deadlines and budgets.

- Took the initiative to establish such team to cop up with the increasing number of self-service terminals
that are deployed by the bank to meet customer needs.
- Supervise the team which provides support and administration tasks to the following systems :

- To Develop in-house competency to handle IT requirements of the banks.
- To Manage related systems and databases to achieve highly available ATM Network services.
- Reviewing system performance regularly to identify required systems enhancements and upgrades .
- Setting up the related system operational procedures and supervise the activities of the supervisors and other team members.
- Introducing new concepts and technologies with respect to ATMs/CCDMs that will enhance the day-to-day functioning in respective areas.
-Assuring proper use and performance of these systems with particular emphasis on service availability and reliability .
- Mentoring team members to ensure optimal availability of the related services .
- Fulfilling all administrative reporting requirements.

- Administering CSF u/Switchware ATM Switch system that controls the bank ATMs and connects them with UAESWITCH in Central Bank and Visa International in London using Visa Access Point (VAP), this includes :
- Designing and maintaining the graphic screens for ATMs
- Designing and maintain flow of transactions .
- ATM programming .
- Maintaining backend database .

- Overall system monitoring to ensure smooth system running.
- Testing and implementing new services .
- Conducting courses related to ATM operations.

Implementing new services / programs and modifications in an optimal manner without adverse effects on current production and testing with minimum impact on development activities.

- Maintenance of all configuration files which are used to startup CSF Switchware system.
- Consulting with vendors to achieve smooth problem-free ATM operation.
- Guiding Operation officers for proper system monitoring and troubleshooting .

- Worked on different type of ATMs, this includes Digital , Diebold , NCR and Wincor-NixDorf ATMs.

- Developing programs in TACL Language ( Tandem Advanced Command Language) to reduce the time consuming procedures, this included :

- Developing a Program to automate printing program outputs to all branches instead of assigning the job to each branch printer manually
- Writing programs to check disk space utilization for Tandem system and produce a report for any file nearly to be full and gives details about the space utilization on each hard disk.

- Data control for all accounting reports and following up faulty transactions.
- Keeping standard configuration for all system components as well as branches networks .
- Preparing macros for Guardian operating systems
- System monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Developing programs in COBOL to replace time consuming jobs, this has saved a lot of time and efforts of IT Operation Team.
