 Report to Head of Technology and Projects.
 Member in IT Projects Committee .
 Program Management.
 Leading several specialized Project Managers handling projects and initiatives related to :
 ATM, CDM and Payment system ( Cards Management System).
 ATM Software and ATM Switch.
 Payment Systems Gateway including VISA, Master Card and UAESWITCH
 Payment Cryptography system.
 ATM Multivendor Software ( KAL ) and related integrated systems.
 New Cards/ product releases, New BINs .
 VISA and MasterCard certification.
 Guiding and managing the implementation of multiple initiatives related to enhancement of the Banks information systems and processes.
 Coordinate with the respective teams in IT to ensure appropriate service level available for self service banking channel.
 Budget preparation and vendors management.
 Negotiating hardware and software purchases and maintenance contracts.
 Develop deployment approaches for rolling out enhancements and new services across ATM and CDM self service banking network.
 Monitoring and supporting the implementation of IT projects to ensure they are delivered according to approved standards and terms, and that they adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
 To manage business relation with the related various business departments.
 Coordinate with the respective vendors and development teams to develop and implement product enhancements as defined and communicated by respective business departments.
 Delegation of roles, responsibility and authority to the Projects Managers, who in turn administrate and manage project deliverables including hardware, software and infrastructure and new services development .
 Managing overall team Projects and ensure that resources are available and channeled to produce the planned deliverables on time and within the approved budget.
 Review and provide regular MIS reports & overall projects portfolio status to management .
 Oversee creation of business requirement documents and review to provide guidance to developers and operation team for support and maintenance activities.
 Identifying, monitoring and managing risks and barriers to project success and follows up with the relevant stakeholders on the mitigation actions to avoid impact on projects budget or time.
 Manage delivery either by vendor developers or internal IT development team to develop and deliver as per business needs and technical standards.
 Ensure all the activities comply with policies & procedures of IT Dept & the Bank.
 Ensuring necessary training and development initiatives are taken across the department unit.
Providing adequate support, guidance & motivation to the team members in order to ensure the achievement of assigned projects.
 Ensure completion of unit testing or SIT ( system integration Testing) and UAT ( user acceptance Testing ) ensure delivered software meets requirements. This includes coordinating with respective business teams to conduct end user testing.
 Evaluating related Hardware and software proposals and recommend most suitable solution to the bank that meets the bank requirements and IT strategy.
 Human Resource Management, Creating a harmonious working environment in all areas within
the section.
 Manage internal staff, external consultants/contractors and vendors in ensuring quality and on-time delivery of and successful implementation of the systems as well as contracted service agreements.
 Participating in developing the budget sheet for IT related projects .
 Liaise with Information Security Team to ensure developed software solutions are secure, and comply with respective standards and legislation.
