KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE PRODUCT AND PRICING
• Reviewing of daily inventory.
• Manage schedules of suppliers and approve daily or weekly appointments.
• Responsible for product costings.
• Negotiate with the suppliers for the rates and making sure that it I confirmed and signed contracts.
• Negotiate more flexibility of terms and conditions like payment terms and further discounts.
• Give quotations to inquiries.
• Report to top Management of the status of the products and developing strategic operation goals.
• Coordinate with different departments such as marketing for promotion of products and consultants for proper knowledge of the products.
• In charge of the website details.
• Entering of negotiated contracts to vendor panel.

Key Responsibilities of Category Head/Manager
•Manage schedules of suppliers and approve daily or weekly appointments.
•Negotiate with vendors/ suppliers and attending to meetings based on agendas like aligning with the agreed targets, deliveries, promotions, accounting concerns etc.
•Proper filing of all incoming documents and making sure that all can be easily found for future reference.
•Resolves pricing discrepancies.
•Conducts Business reviews to Trade suppliers to review the performance per quarter, per mid-year and full year together with the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and trade suppliers.
•Report directly to Managing Director, Merchandising Head and COO for approval of all supports negotiated with the vendor.
•Sourcing of new vendors, new items, negotiating for listing fees, discounts and creating sample tag to compare to existing product.
•Checking deliveries per vendor and per store. Deciding to return if incorrect.
•Assessing vendor via company profile, pricing, terms, discounts and marketing collaterals.
•Creating Promo schemes and bundling mechanics.
•Generating Sales through ARC 5.0 or Merchandise Management System and analyze the performance per vendor, category, class, subclass and per sku.
•Forecasting seasonal items to meet customer demands.
•Making plans to categories that are not performing well such as creating promotions.
•Monitoring competitors’ movement through Market Survey.
•Set up for every new store to open and lobby set up for thematic events.
•Rationalization of item per store if not performing well.
•Sending of possible glaring inventories to stores and warehouses.
•Attend to trade fairs or conventions within or outside the region.
•Coordinating with other departments regarding vendor issues such as vendor collections, displays and, inventories.
•Coordination to warehouse heads and officers regarding stocks like FIFO, FEFO, request for transfer and special deliveries.
•Pick up and deliver stocks of special vendors that cannot do delivery in stores and warehouses.
•Creating pricing strategy per sku and per location especially to the top skus.
•Ensuring that cost and price increase and rebates will effect in accordance with the agreed date.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF CATEGORY BUYER
•Create and Purchase the orders of minimum 600 skus either manually or using the Replenishment Consolidator.
•Reviewing of RPL set-up to ensure proper distribution of stocks per location.
•Negotiate with the supplier especially in terms of deliveries like adding frequency of deliveries and special deliveries if needed.
•Ensuring stocks are properly distributed to all 57 branches in the region.
•Store visits and checking of merchandise per store.
•Pick up and deliver stocks if necessary.
•Protection orders whenever there are price increase.
•Monitoring stock level and tracking of deliveries.
