Dealing with the guest over the phone and through emails for hotel rates and coordinate with the travel agents and update the room allotment
Confirms the room availability and prepares pro-forma invoice for advance payment
Control and oversee the daily task at reservations department
Keeping all the records of reservations neatly and correctly
Handles group booking and verify the guest request online and direct
check any no-show and cancellation report with the correspondence and keep the record
Trains and supervise the staff at reservation Reconcile the commission for online booking like booking.com ex-pedia-direct etc.
Prepares SOP for front office on daily operation
Responsible to report directly to Front Office Manager
In charge of the Front Office if manager is not available
Responsible for the efficient and professional running of the front desk including relationships with other departments
Assist all associates with questions, problems which might occur at the reception
Trains and supervise the staff at the reception
Arrange the duty roster of the staff on weekly basis
