The course is specifically designed and developed to prepare the students for the highly technical field of aircraft maintenance. It contains engineering and technical subjects, and is taught through a variety of teaching methods: Classroom lectures, field observations and hands-on practicum exercises. In addition, students are also exposed to an On-the-Job-Training in an affiliate flight or aviation company, supervised by a senior company personnel as well as a faculty adviser. Completion of the course entitles the individual to higher positions in the aircraft maintenance field.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician course is a two-year fast track course designed to prepare the students for different skills-oriented jobs in the highly specialized field of aircraft maintenance. Comprehensive technical training, both theoretical and practical is given on the maintenance, inspection, overhaul, repair, servicing and troubleshooting of airframes, powerplants, propellers and accessories.
