Responsibilities includes but not limited to: Management of a team of QA/QC Engineers of all discipline that oversees the contractors work progress and ensure that the work is being done in accordance to the approve plans and specification. Manage the review process of construction submittals (method statements, construction drawings, material approval, risk assessments and projects ITP), prepare minutes of meetings, attend and preside over technical meetings, manage the testing and commissioning process of the project, administer the scope management plan of the project to ensure that the venture will include all the works required to be able to successfully complete the project, prepare and manage the projects man power loading schedule, prepare correspondence, manage the preparation of the projects monthly progress report and conducts internal quality audits.

GMA ANNEX STUDIO PROJECT
With my stint with IPM Construction Corporation I was privileged to hold the following positions Head of Technical Services Division which handles all Costing, Accounting, Quality Control as well as logistics of the projects the company also assigned me as Project In-Charge of several projects awarded to the company and as Field Engineer monitoring and overseeing works in progress ensure work is done as per Plans and as per schedule as well, projects involved with during this period varies from Subdivision and Site developments including Water treatments and other facilities and medium rise constructions.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and responsible for the execution and monitoring all phases of field construction operation and commissioning including mechanical, electrical and plumbing work activities. Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of on-going construction activities and material deliveries to ensure conformance with project specifications, approved plans, quality and safety programs and procedures as set forth in the contract documents, supervision and monitoring of on-going construction activities and material deliveries to ensure conformance with project specifications, approved plans, quality and safety programs and procedures as set forth in the contract documents and monitor and control construction personnel movements and assignments as well as evaluation of workers performance in their assigned task ensure availability of manpower, materials, tools and equipments at site to maintain speedy and timely execution of construction activities and lastly monitoring and evaluating field construction effort to determine the level of quality and efficiency of work performed and conduct routine inspection to ensure desired quality and completion is satisfied.
The project includes the design, construction and operation of a 439, 000m3 per day advanced sewage treatment works which includes inlet works, aeration and secondary settlement tanks, sand filtration treatment, ultra-filtration, aerobic sludge digestion, sludge dewatering and associated works. The treatment facilities and infrastructure will provide upgraded services to a projected population of over 900, 000 residents of Doha and surrounding areas. Supporting infrastructures were also constructed to enable the facility to serve a future population of 1, 200, 000 residents. A lagoon with a 14 day capacity was also constructed and it is the first earth fill dam construction with an impervious concrete core.
Project Title : Doha North Sewage Treatment and Associated Works
The project involves the construction of a Pumping Station with a Mechanically raked screen 36m deep, housed in a 20m outside diameter shaft lifting pumping station 38m diameter and 38 m deep with 10 Nos. pump sets, each nominally rated at 1, 316 l/s against a 40m head with provision for two future pump sets, it also includes the construction of a forward pumping station at or near ground level with the same number of pump sets. The project also involves the excavation and laying of a 24 km triple pipeline 1.6m in diameter with associated air valve chambers including 2400mm diameter micro tunneling of 100m length and 38 meters depth, washout chambers and crossover chambers and other support structures such as 2 Nos. Motor Control Centers to house 4 nos. transformer 5000Kva and a generator building to house 4 nos. 2500 Kva, 3.3Kv generators and an 11Kv substation and one odour control unit plus one administration building.
Project Title : Doha North Sewage Treatment and Associated Works
Interceptor Sewers (CP-682/3)
Location : Doha, Qatar
The project consists of road works, excavation & micro tunneling works for installation of interceptor line sewers. The tunnel has a total length of 33.259 km with 98 deep shafts; the deepest shaft is around 35 meters deep and longest length 777 meters. The tunnel ranges from 900mm, 1400mm, 1600mm to 2400 mm in diameter connecting to a waste water treatment plant pumping station.

The project involves the construction of an oil and gas plant that includes the construction of the following; Main Substations, Utility Substations, Gas Insulated Switch Gear Building, Water Injection Pump Building, Central Control Room Building, Process Interface Building, Water Injection Pump Building, Water Treatment Plants, Foundations for pipe racks, T-racks, tank ring wall, foundations modification, sleeper, pipe supports, transformer shelters, underground piping for domestic fire water lines, 115 KV & 35 KV underground concrete electrical duct banks, pre-cast power cable channel & concrete / asphalt pavement.
This project involves the construction of a 4 storey with 1 basement building which will house GMA’s studio and other offices. Along this project is the are following construction of Sewerage Treatment Plant that will service the New GMA Studio Annex and as well as the existing 18 storey GMA Network Studio, construction of a 4 storey Energy Center and a bridge way which will connect the two new structures from each other.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction Phase
Handles the bidding process of all packages of all discipline from invitation of qualified bidders, Evaluate Bids and recommends best offer to client for awarding.
Construction Phase
Responsible for the construction management of the project, managing the cost, schedule and quality performance of the contractor and ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner and within the approved construction budget, prepare correspondence minutes of meeting and monthly progress reports. Coordinate with designers and answer all construction related queries.
Monitor on-going construction of the project, supervise construction work in progress and ensure compliance of work with the approved plans and specifications, establish procedures for the processing of shop drawings, samples and catalogue of equipment, update the overall schedule and other program network control and ensure that all parties are informed, prepare accurate progress report during all stages of construction, review process, evaluate all application for billing and supervise structural construction of the work in progress.
Monitor on-going construction of a 6 storey structural erection and rehabilitation of the plants existing water treatment facilities ensure compliance of works with the approved plans and specification as well as compliance with the International Building Codes.
Other duties include preparation of cost estimates and bill of quantities, evaluate contractors billing, recommends payment, coordinate with the owners representative and prepare construction schedules.
Supervise the structural and architectural construction of works in progress and ensure compliance of works with the approved plans and specifications. Inspect and supervise activities during construction on all related works.
The project is located at the portion of Circumferential Road 5 going to the busy intersection of Boni Serrano Avenue and Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. It involves the construction of a 476.37m long left turning flyover from E Rodriguez Ave. to Boni Serrano. This will be then connected by a 289.72m long turning tunnel beginning from Boni Serrano Ave. going to Katipunan.
Responsible for monitoring on-going construction of the project, supervise structural construction work and ensure compliance of work with the approved plans and specifications as well as International Building Standards.
The project is a 35-storey building with a grand lobby branch bank at the ground floor, an auditorium/ballroom and social hall at the 10th floor, cafeteria and deck garden at the 12th floor, the executive offices at the 33rd floor, boardroom and executive lounge at the 34th floor and helipad at the 35th level and Waste Water Treatment Plant. Along with the project is the construction installation of 6 elevators servicing all floors plus one service elevator.
Monitor on-going construction particularly the structural aspect of the project in the duration of the construction; ensure that work is in accordance to the plans and specifications as well as in the International Building Codes.
Also responsible for the bidding process of all owner furnished materials, prepare memos, correspondence, reports and response letters to any queries and issues that arises.
The project is a 10 Storey school building with basement parking, mezzanine and a helipad at the roof deck. Its structural components are mostly reinforced concrete. The substructure elements are cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles and isolated caps interlinked by tie beams. The building will be equipped with elevator, emergency power supply and fire protection system. Added features were underground water storage (Cistern) for fire and domestic reserves, sewerage treatment plant and a deep well.
Heads a 10 man group of inspectors of different disciplines, prepare and administer risk management plan to ensure the high probability positive impact events and to decrease the probability and impacts of negative events in the project, manage construction works in progress and ensure compliance of work with the approved plans and specifications as well as conformance with the international building standards, established procedure for processing of shop drawings, sample and catalogue of equipments. Issue directives and memoranda to contractor on their performance, prepared accurate progress report and review and approve all applications for billing and change orders.

Project Title : EXCAVATION OF PACIFIC PLAZA TOWERS FORT
BONIFACIO, GLOBAL CITY.
The project involves a 2, 000 s.q.m area excavation of a depth of 20 meters, including shotcreting and soil nailing as slope protection in preparation for the construction of a 40 storey residential commercial building.
Responsible for the overall operation of the project, ensure correctness of elevation, coordinates and safety of all concerns.
The project involves the construction of a 750 s.q.m. office warehouse.
Responsible for the overall operation and technical aspect of the project.
