• Create Day and Night Plans for servicing all offshore facilities, approximately 50, including Drilling Rigs (Deep Water, Jack-ups, Towers, etc.), Production Platforms and jackets, from a dock with 3 berths.
• Assign utilization of vessels with regard to Load Outs, Backloads, Bulking, docking, etc.
• Monitor and intervene with road transport, dock activities, and marine supervision where necessary.
• Also involved with the planning for iLogistics system, the electronic material tracking system to be rolled out shortly.
• Attend meetings concerning all pertinent aspects to the marine operation, e.g. Drilling Superintendent's Logistics Meeting, weekly Service Vessel company meeting, oil dispersant inventories and capabilities, 90 day planning look ahead's, rigmove meetings, etc.

• Inputting Costs and Physical Inventory daily in WELL VIEW (8.1 & 9)

• Contingency implementation with regard to unexpected requirements and emergencies.

• Provide Quality Assurance for generated manifests, shipping lists and shipping manifests.
• Verify required equipment is staged for loading and is loaded on vessels.
• Develops and maintains personnel rotational schedule.
• Follow up with Logistics daily to check on daily boat planning / needs.
• Prepare load out dates for drilling rigs and assist Drilling Logistics Coordinators.

Curriculum Vitae - EDWARD DOUGLAS BEESLEY I am currently contracted through Swift WR to Chevron, Qiqiao D & C Supply Base, Chuandongbei Gas Project, China, appointed in the position of Drilling and Completions Supply Base Manager. Prior to this I was Logistics Planner, Chevron, Malongo Base, Angola, and before that, Senior Drilling Logistics Coordinator, offshore, and worked in this position for the past 6+ years and dealt with all logistical and shipping aspects of materials and personnel planning for each project, which included New-drills, Sidetracks, Workovers, Completions, Fracs, etc. Working mainly from the Drilling Programs and Procedures for each Well, my position was very much an autonomous one and I sought clarification on issues from the Drilling Team Leader and Engineers when necessary. I have just started in China after being in Angola for 7 ½ years. I am currently enrolled for the Masters Degree in Transportation and Logistics Management with the American Public University System, and have completed 7 out of 12 subjects, GPA currently just over 3.9. I've been working rotations for the past 8+ years.
