Creates material master in SAP and maintains material master data, including short and
long descriptions. Serves as liaison between end-users, process owners and development
teams; functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in translating requirements for software
development teams. Trains, coaches and mentors others on new functionalities and upgrades.
Organizes internal material classifications in accordance with corporate master data
classification governance. Establishes, implements, and optimizes material master data
related processes in compliance with the policy and standards defined by the Master Data
Management Team. Works on warehouse management such as warehouse structure, storage
types, storage sections, bins, storage type indicators, interface between IM/WM, goods
movement and material flow inbound and outbound. Participates in enhancing and
supporting logistics applications, including shipping, warehouse management and inventory
management.
