Construction Engineer, co-coordinating the onsite activities of EPC Contractors in the
execution of construction engineering programs; including bridge and underpass
construction, pump stations and sewage treatment plant construction, micro-tunneling, rising
pressure and gravity main network construction.
Management of sub-contractors scope, and co-ordination of alignment between the design
and project teams, ensuring agreed standards for safety, health and environment are
achieved
Reporting to the Client on construction progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions.
Project planning and forecasting, monitoring and controlling project objectives and deliverables.
Ensuring clear coordination between Project Engineer and contractors’ technical group to clear any obstacles
ahead of planned construction works.
Reviewing engineering interface between contractors executing adjacent scopes of work.

Developing construction plans and Method Statements which have an engineering interface,
such as temporary works and shoring plans.
Reviewing contractors’ plans for how work will be executed, including prefabrication plans,
tie in plans, field weld, and lifting plans. Participation in and provision of advice on all
construction related activities and initiatives, provision of technical evaluations on method
statements and bid proposals.
Assisting construction phase in confirming “As Built” details and attending discipline walk
downs. Developing and drafting construction RWEs and MOCs as necessary
Supporting Completions team as required. Coordination to completion of construction punch
lists and handover alignment support with the Completions team
Work with the Project Engineer to ensure RFIs and TDRs are clearly understood and
addressed in a thorough and timely manner to support construction
Headed up the detailed design of the Legacy Camp on the Future Growth Project in Tengiz
Kazakhstan for KPJV (Fluor/Worley Parsons JV). This included all Interface management
between client packages and subcontractors, taking into consideration the needs of the
different internal and external clients, with respect to timing and budget.
This was a 2, 500 man camp design on the Tengiz oil field, near Atyrau in Kazakhstan. The
Legacy Camp consisted of dining facilities, entertainment and sporting facilities, medical
facilities, office facilities as well as all required services such as wastewater treatment,
potable water treatment, laundry, power supply and heating and cooling systems.
