1. Assist in the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
2. Perform monthly maintenance.
3. Perform system backups and recovery.
4. Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
5. Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
6. Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
7. Develop and maintain server and network documentation.
8. Support remote users in accessing corporate resources.
9. Perform system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.
10. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and response.
11. Perform routine preventative maintenance on all hardware on a routine and scheduled basis.
12. Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
13. Support, maintain, and administer third party applications, Network Printers, IP telephones, IP Cameras, Time Attendance machines and Access Door Control.
14. Act as 2nd level support for desktop issues. Assist Help Desk as required in desktop support activities. 15. Assist in handling multiple projects
1. Ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the Company.
2. Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop
applications, Local and / or Wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications.
3. Development and implementation of new systems.
4. Working with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT services to defined Service Level Agreements.
5. Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
6. Developing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan.
7. Maintaining and developing the company website.

• ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards;
• analysing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password;
• undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;
• providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence;
• supervising other staff, such as help desk technicians;
• working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff;
• planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work;
• managing the website and keeping internal networks running;
• Monitoring the use of the web by employees.
