Managing teams of electrical and mechanical engineers for many projects around Saudi Arabia for design, design review and construction supervision
Worked as Consultant Engineer for JODP ( Jabal Omar Development Project ) Phase IV of a
Podium consisting of ( 3 Bassments, Ground Floor and 4
commercial levels ) and 7 Towers each of around 25
floors with a total of approximately 1800 Guest Rooms.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Electrical Resident Engineer.
2. Identifying client requirements.
3. .Leading a team of electrical engineers/inspectors for
the construction supervision activities.
4. Attending meetings on site.
5. Reading contract, design specifications and technical
drawings and highlighting the expected contradictions
or problems to the direct manager
6. Revising shop drawings and material submittals and
approving their compliance with the contract, the
design, the project
specifications and the relevant codes
7. Reviewing safety and building ability of the proposed
designs, in coordination with other disciplines, as per
local and global life safety codes.
8. Verifying Inspection Requests and Material Inspection
requests as per the contract, the design, the project
specifications and the relevant codes.
9. Raise Field Observation Reports (FORs) and
Nonconformity Report (NCRs) for contractor non
qualified work.
10. Preparing Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports about
contractor work.
Worked as an Owner representative for a mixed use building consisting of ( 3 Basements, Ground Floor, Mezzanine Floor & 8 repeated floors) Having nearly all types of electrical systems such as (Decorative Lighting, Power outlets, Load calculation, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Data Center, Public address, Grounding & lightening, Cable Tray, Low Current Systems …etc.)
Designing of LV & MV panels and Package sub-stations on AutoCAD as per single line diagram, Estimating the electrical panel boards and electric sub-stations price, Preparing BOM for procurement process, Designing of control wiring diagrams for different purpose control circuits, Processing of work and Order received from Marketing Dept., Coordinate project and sales team, Attend clarification/Kick off meetings with estimation/project, Preparation of GA Drawings after receiving the Inquiries from sales Dept., Selection of Switchboard as per Customer Requirement, Preparation of Master Bill of Material, Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings in Auto-CAD, Preparation of Single Line Diagram, Preparations of Material List, Participate Local switchgear supplier conference for their new product & software, Visit Sites and resolve problem if any.
Designing & Supervising lighting systems, power circuits, CCTV’s systems, data & telephone systems, voice & sound systems, fire extinguishing systems, TV & satellites systems, A/C electrical circuits, cables estimation and electrical panel boards designing.
