Monitor all contractor activities on site.
-Review all actions required from the contractor as per the approved HSE plan. (Documented/applied on site).
-Monitoring Tool box talk (TBT), safety meetings, drills, near miss, induction and training.
-Review, comment and approve (if required) all risk assessments submitted by the contractor.
-Ensure control of work procedures are enforced, including PPE requirements.
-Conduct regular inspections of work sites for unsafe conditions and general housekeeping report, as appropriate, any unsafe conditions that cannot be immediately rectified.
-Review the accident Report.
-Be aware of emergency response procedures and duties.
-STOP immediately any unsafe act or unsafe working condition.
-Monitor the performance of contractor against their HSE Plan.
-Authorize deviations from the contractor HSE Plan.
-Apply penalties in the event of unauthorized deviations from the contractor HSE Plan or the contract.
-Authorize additional HSE requirements as deemed necessary.
-Perform assurance checks on contractor's review, inspections, and follow-up.
-Ensure that the hazards and effects management controls specified in the contractor HSE Plan are implemented.
-Conduct HSEMS audits to ensure that the HSEMS requirements and ECG policies effectively
