• Implementation of protection relays Configuration, Settings & testing.
• Familiar with various testing equipment (OMICRON, FREJA 300, SVERKER 750, CT Analyzer, Megger and primary injection ).
• Commissioning transformer, transmission line and distribution feeder protective relays
• Calibrating electromechanical relays and energy meter.
• Testing all components at substations (CT -VT - High and medium voltage switchgear).
• Testing low & medium voltage CBs (insulation, timing and contact resistance).

• Carry out all switching operation relevant to the substation (power transformer, auto transformer, OHTL and under ground cable)using automation systems (SICAM PAS CC and PACIS ), BCU, LCP and by manual operation Coordination with load dispatch center.
• Apply energizing for transformers or OHTLs for the first time.
• Observe and analysis for all alarms on automation system and protection cabinet.
• Calculate daily report for energy import and export for loads.
• Responsible for safety and health procedures instructions according to the company.
• Immediately deal with urgent situation of tripping or outages and back to the normal operation as quickly as possible Coordination with load dispatch centers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and survey for power system equipment (power transformer, CT, PT, CB and GIS equipment ).
• Perform Periodic maintenance for batteries and achieve efficiency load curve.
• Perform cable joint and termination.
• Perform high voltage test and primary injection for under ground cable.
• Teams with the work leader and employees to insure successful normal operation for safety purpose.
