 Managing family business, Baakleen Supermarket, a moderate-size super-market, my responsibilities include :

- Being responsible for the day-to-day management of the store.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and functions of staff in relation to daily business.
- Budgeting
- Completing and overseeing daily, weekly and monthly paperwork and correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assessing monthly sales and analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
- Handling procurement to ensure effective stock management and visual merchandising. This involves securing special promotions from suppliers to increase profit margin
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
- Performing Daily Cash inspection.
- Handling payments and relationship with bank
- Hiring and training employees
- Ensuring the store constantly maintains the highest level of customer
service and satisfaction.
- Responding to customer complaints and comments.
- Ensuring a healthy & professional working environment.
- Implementing Omega Software (POS) in both, Supermarket and Jeans w bas stores.
- Analyzing sales data and forecasting demand and identifying profitable products. This is done by excel and Omega Software.
