• Ensuring the Managed service provider's proper on-time execution for all the Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance activities within the communicated SLA.
• Regular assess the experience, capability and skills for Orange teams who are serving the maintenance, operation and facility of Orange network sites and train team if needed.
• Leading an in-house team to handle all Orange's Data Fixed network maintenance and upgrade actions, along with both the Triple Play services and the B2B Enterprise account.
• Ensuring a smooth non interrupted Mobile/Fixed networks operation during the Special/VIP events (CAN, ICT, etc.)
• Following up on several Energy Saving and CO2 reducing initiatives (Generator to Grid, Hybrid Generators deploying, Shelter to Outdoor solution swap actions).
• Day to Day activities follow-up with all actions and alarm handled by L-1 managed service provider along the region.
• Engaging in modernizing/modification projects from the Civil Work aspect:
- Supporting ROT team in performing needed civil and security actions (installing steel cages, locks. armored doors) and perform the needed modifications to meet with the NTRA protocols
- Implementing the requested modifications by the Radio team (Antenna replacement, Adding Sector, etc.) enhancing the customers' experience.
- Executing the requested Retrofitting and Critical Repair actions to ensure the existing structures safety.
• Responsible for all acceptance activities and all action performance from 2G, 3G, 4G, CW, RFI and all links.
• Responsible for acceptance and quality process in site to be done from first visit and send all FB on time.
• Check on All alarms, VSWR test, and quality of all works to be matched with Etisalat Model.
• Deal with DC inclusion, which include RTN 980.
• Responsible for accepting sites after rectification from sub-contractors and updating SQI for different scopes.
• Responsible for collecting data for all supply actions from sub-contractors for different tower and shelters.
• Responsible for achieving SLA that matches with customer requirements and KPI for Huawei.
• Control and manage documentation for all actions.
• Define & Integrating on air process and site transfer process to manage service.
• Assuring the quality of sites before transferring to MS to keep the sites in the best condition during operation and to keep up the availability.
• Supporting ROT to focus on critical and major snags to transfer the sites and achieving the target of RFS.
• Responsible for all actions related to acceptance department inside and outside Alexandria area for new sites RFI and all expansion activities for: 2G, 3G, civil work and power expansion actions .
• Responsible for garneting quality that required from Etisalat and the new rules from different sub-contractors in Etisalat sites for all activities.
• Utilized best performance measurement indicators KPIs for the project NUR in order to meet Selrvice Level Agreement (SLA) at Orange HP server.
• Prioritized requested trouble tickets with network operator in-charge engineer in order to resolve critical problems with minimal possible time.
• Act as technical advisor with regional and sub-offices staff for major troubleshooting and follow it up till complete.
• Technical interface with vendor and suppliers at sites during system upgrades, testing and commissioning.
Installation, Commissioning, integration hardware configuration, hardware upgrade, E1 Upgrade and Solve all hardware problems for NSN Flexi Multiradio (GSM 900, DCS 1800 and 3G node B).
Install, Commissioning, integrating, System verification and acceptance for NSN Flexi Multiradio BTS/LTE Flexi platform Network Element, perform advance troubleshooting, able to follow NSN documentation and independently resolve project issues.
DDF rectification project : make a DDF arrangement of all M.W links all BTS cabinets and ADM such as ( NEC, I Paso, NEO, Alcatel ), check all unused cables and equipments, make DDF arrangement for all equipments such as ( NSN 2G, 3G and BSC, Huawei BTS and BSC, Motorola BTS and BSC ).
BSC test for NSN highways (CIC test) by using (Tang C++).
Installation, testing, integration upgrading and configuration of NSN Rectifier (FPRA and FPRB).
Audit and acceptance visits with Orange teams.
Responsible for Site survey and collecting data and sending it to NSN through SSR reports.
Level 2 quality maintenance: Resolving, cross feeders, inverted sectors, high VSWR and BTS side when existence of high blocking situations of Motorola GSM BTS equipments (Horizon and Horizon II (BTS)).
• ZTE / Ericsson MW and BSS swapping project including delivery of ZTE equipment and dismantling, packing and return of Ericsson equipment.
• ZTE SDR Project (New sites installation project).
• ZTE Transmission and Power Rectifier cabinets installation Project 3G.
• ZTE call blocker Project (Working in installation of switching cabinets In Mobinil MSCs).
(Nokia Siemens Networks Subcontractor) as site engineer:
• Telecom Egypt - NSN Fixed switching Project (Working in installation of Telecom Egypt switches which related to the capacity of the network and increasing the number of the subscribers).
• Responsibilities include:
• Execution of projects with high specifications.
• Checking all plans & documents of all new sites.
• Ensuring all safety issues during mobilization & construction.
