Maintenance and operations Engineer Electrical.
Nature of duties
Primary Purpose:
Accomplish quality planning work requirements by orienting, training,
assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees and act as a capable
detailed-oriented Team leader who would successfully achieve electrical
engineering operational objectives and targets.
Coordinator to develop tracking systems for agreed KPI's, Ensuring HSEQ
standards are set and maintained.
Preparing of detailed equipment specifications, PR and bid analysis and
tender documents, scope of work, construction specifications. Carry out
commissioning tests and set up plant start-up procedures.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical engineering advice, guidance and relevant information by
answering questions and requests to operating divisions on the assigned
electrical engineering discipline aspects.
Carrying out root cause analysis on all breakdowns, issue a PMP (Plant
Modification Proposal) to improve performance and efficiency of existing
plant .approve and review site and operating manuals instructions, assess
and monitor additional works specification, prepare scopes and the
technical terms of reference for consultants /specialists, evaluate and audit
suppliers technical bids, attend FAT test, review, approve and endorse the
progress payment for contractors upon satisfactory completion.
Fully familiar with SIEMENS power management system (PMS),
SIMATIC and SICAM Step7 programs, (S7 400 CPU's), SIEMENS
Human machine interface (WINCC), SIEMENS 33kV gas insulated
Switchgear, 6.6kV, 690V, 400V SIEMENS Switchgears, SIEMENS
transformers, SIEMENS digital SIPROTEC protection relays, SIMAS
power quality relays for electrical generation and distribution systems.
Achievement :
Finalized all the electrical engineering Feed for the QVC expansion project
amounting to 900, 000, 000 $
-With Tecnimont was Responsible for 3 area of Aromatics & 2 S/S,
follow up daily work from erection up to Testing &comm. preparing daily,
Inspection of all electrical activity installed at site accord. to QC standard
Technical advice on electrical projects and checking contractors work to ensure
compliance with specifications, engineering standards and hazardous areas
classifications.
-My responsibility at ULG project to insure Preparation of work packs, and
schedule plan for executing are done probably, Reviews projects electrical
documents, material PR, follow up daily work from erection up to Testing
&comm. preparing daily & weekly overhauling progress& submitted to
project manager and also preparing technical study, evaluation for up
grading old R.M.U. which include protection, power cable, comm.& start
up, also UPS up grading with different rate
-Previous responsibilities include the electrical commissioning at
WLGP Mellitah plant ( Libya ) which including .
- Elect. equipment & S/S for 3 Trains
-Supervise & monitor for all elect. Work
-Technical assistance for contractor quire.
-Inspection of all electrical activity installed at site accord. to QC standard
-Attending and supervise all elect. Testing & commissioning
(H.V, M.V, L.V)equipment
-Attending daily meeting with other division for overhauling progress

-At Midor Oil Refinery was responsible to follow up maintenance
activity, electrical reliability performance according to predictive &
corrective maintenance for improvement operation& production &
according to Dep. Budget, monitor all plant modification and
recommendation for electrical issues, follow up staff for implementation of
HSE, ESR & ESOP, involving and reviewing technical issue for new
project, spare parts follow up, daily meeting activity & measurement of
contractor reliability
-At Technip responsibility was include EPC-2 Erection, pre comm.
&commissioning of the three main areas &two main S/S which
Include the following installing, inspection &testing for law, medium and
high voltage cable, law &medium voltage motor, grounding and lightning
system, bus duct system, high, medium & Law voltage Transformer with
different rate of power, High & Medium voltage switch- Gear of
Schneider group, PMCC system with relevant Switch gear, Cathodic
protection system, U PS and D.C system, Protection relay system
-At Al-Furat was responsible as ‘On Job Trainer ’ for The local Syrian
staff in the ongoing Nationalization program. Job responsibilities
encompass the application on line for preventive Maintenance procedure,
trouble shooting analysis Procedure, installation &comm. of new
equipment, managing group in work shops as well as in the on various
elect. Equipment, Conducting class room Lectures, preparing & conducting
short courses For existing staff As Listed Below, carrying out Appraisals,
Career planning and five year Development plans for trainees as well as
Existing staff. For the following fields Power plant, Gas plant, central
production Facility, And Central work shop .
-Working to Egyptian petrochemical company ethylene gas
platform as maintenance And operation engr. Responsible for of
trouble shooting of all electrical equipment, Diesel Power Generation,
substation, Protection system and U.P.S & batteries system,
Lighting, cable sizing and installation, issuing Of material
requisitions and balancing of all min And max electrical stocks etc.
