• Work as a Pre-sales and Technical Support Engineer allows me to prepare customized network designs according to the customer's needs. The main aim is to help the customer to meet his needs and to provide him with investment protection via network solutions that are scalable, highly available and satisfying all his main requirements.
For this, I have to be updated about the newest products and technologies, be able to prepare presentations technical or business oriented and be ready to demonstrate the solution and the products to the customer effectively.
• My responsibilities are getting the required specs from the tender document and meeting with the customer to prepare the suitable solution.
• Deliver Solutions according to the customer needs including BOM, BOQ, Solution description, and network topology.
• Deliver design, configuration, implementation, and support network solutions.
• Handling the communications with the suppliers.
Projects:
• Designed, tendered and implemented a turnkey IP- Video Surveillance System for Cairo metro 47 Stations.
• A Proof of concept was done showing/explaining our complete solution Including (Surveillance Cameras used, Network, Software and Analytics used, etc...).
• Around 2265 Cameras used and Thin Clients on the stations.
• Monitoring and Management from multi-sites.
• Covering every single point in the stations (Corridors/Hall-Ways, Entrances and Exits, Ticket Gates, Ticket Rooms and Platforms).
• Work as a project manager for Cairo metro IPVS Phase 1 Project
• Work as Technical Support Engineer in many sites like (banking sector , Industrial Sectors, network Infrastructure & configure end to end solutions for WAN, LAN & wireless LAN) Handle and report all problems related to operation Good knowledge in management network (Cisco works) as the following Customers:
National Development Bank
Faisal Islamic Bank
Egyptian Gulf Bank
National Bank of Oman.
Suez Canal Bank
Egyptian Administrative Control Authority .
• Shabana Group ((Data & voice Solutions for about 11 branchs With HQ over VPN tunneling over ADSL lines)).
• Faisal bank (Upgrade this network with routers 2900 & 4510 series, core switches, 4 ASA 5550 series…etc.)
• Outsource Network Engineer in Bank for 4 Months.
• During my work I have got a very good experience that enhance my skills and my knowledge form my challenge in Cisco Routers And Switches.
• Installing and configure Visual private network (VPN).
• PIX Firewall 515, 525 & ASA (5510, 5520, 5540).
• Installing and configure end to end solution for (wan & LAN & wireless LAN)
• Installation & configuration for Cisco Wireless Network AP1200 series, AP1100.
• Troubleshooting, Monitoring all data network equipment and infrastructure of the network.
