1. Responsible for design: Concrete elements design (beams, columns, walls, …) and preparation of drawings for delivery to the customers; buildings stability analysis (under wind load), floor layouts ... . One hospital project is done, and the second project is under way.
2. Preparation of reports for different tasks for the director according to the timetable of design process and monitoring the workflow of designers and modellers according to the tasks given.
3. Training of the junior designers based on Eurocodes and national annexes and the theory behind.
4. Distribution of the project budget based on different tasks of the department in cooperation with the director.
5. Cooperation with director for participation in tendering (calculation of working hours and price quote) (tendering materials are provided by other departments responsible for this issue).
6. Timing of design process of the project according to the different tasks and considering their priority and delivery of the drawings to the client in time.

Hospital unit consists of around 10 employees including one director and one project manager (my role) and other designers and BIM modellers. The unit is located at the headquarter of Ramboll in capital of Finland. Ramboll is considered as the largest consulting company in Finland.

After 2 years working as a designer, I received the position design project manager in the
same department. As well as responsibilities for design I was involved also for the
budgeting of the project and also cooperation in providing price quote for tendering.
