Junior Process Engineer on adnoc offshore Das island project for updating SOPs and manuals

• Create & update Operating Procedure & Manual of ADNOC Offshore DAS Island facility on the basis of P&IDs, existing
Operating Procedure, Operating manual, I/O list, Alarm and trip Value, vendor data, Cause and effect, ESD philosophy
etc.
• Preparation & verification of As-Built P&IDs.
• Update start-up/shut down procedure of process Units by using P&IDs, vendor data, Cause and effect Chat, control
philosophy, ESD philosophy etc.
• Collect all relevant data/document/ drawings from the Contractor and incorporate all relevant technical Data/
information in the Operating Manual & Procedures.
• Incorporate all HAZID/HAZOP study recommendations, Isolation, Depressurization, Vent and drain philosophy etc. in
the operating manual and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Safe Startup, Shutdown procedures. As well as controlling all the parameters according to Standard Operating
Procedures.
• Reviewing and analyzing all the Process Control Parameters during whole shift Operations.
• Reviewing Material Balance, minimizing loss of Amine by keeping the unit in safe Operational limits. As well as
maintaining the Unit in Safe Operating Parameters to have the Results with in the defined limits.
• Dealing with emergencies like Steam Failure, Power Failure, Instrument Air Failure & have a grip on the overall
system.
• Operator Training Simulator (OTS) training of Sulphur Recovery Unit.
• Permit to Work (PTW) issuing work in a confined space, Hot work, Cold work.
• Controlling Refinery Fuel Gas System (RFG - 377V50) through Auto Cascade Control loop -Makeup - Surplus - Excess
• Area operation, troubleshooting & DCS ( Experion PKS) controlling as well as on field supervisory for handling
operations and emergency in ATU, SRU & SWSU
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Implementation of permit to work system to eliminate the hazards and ensure maximum plant and process safety.
• Training subordinates regarding HSEQ policies and plant operations.
• Developing SOPs for unit Start up, Normal/Emergency Shutdown and Emergency Handling.
• Detailed study of PFDs and P&IDs, Start-up/Shutdown Manuals, General Operating Manuals, Emergency Handling
Manuals To ensure that the parameters are working with in the ranges prescribed as per SOPs.
• To ensure all the housekeeping comply with OSHAS standards, all the gas detector, gadgets, PPEs are working fine.
• Keeping track of reactor performances w.r.t reactor parameters and forecasting the reactors catalyst life.
• Inventory Management including chemicals and other plant accessories.
• To make sure the samples are taken timely and taking corrective actions regarding plant parameters if any of the
results are off-specification.
