Apart from the management responsibilities at SEDCO my hands-on involvement has been with Oracle ERP release 11i implementation of almost all important business application modules that include Oracle Financial (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Supplier Chain (IM, PO), Property Management (PN) and Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) .

 Prepare, monitor and control IT and project related budgets according the IT strategic plan to meet the business demand and challenges.
 Manage and co-ordinate development implementation activities across all business units allocating and re-allocating resources as necessary. Maintain close relationships with project managers and sponsors to ensure major implementation projects are conducted in the best possible manner.
 Review project progress with project manager and Project Office to ensure deliverables conform to quality specifications and milestones are met on time. Take necessary action to ensure project slippage is contained and remedial requirements communicated through appropriate channels.
 Plan and arrange suitable, just-in-time technical and personal training programs for staff members to ensure adequate levels of technical skill is available to the company at all times.
 Develop and maintain Development Services Processes in areas of Package Selection and Implementation, Applications Maintenance, Business Application support, Business Analysis etc.
 Advise senior management and users of the best technical approach to accommodate new business requirements by championing new opportunities for the use of IT.
 Direct the database administration and Application Manager resources to ensure optimum performance of various databases in use and to ensure high availability, reliability and integrity of data for users
 Plan and recruit appropriate levels of manpower for project activity. Negotiate with external contractor providers and vendors of consultancy services to ensure requisite levels of expertise are deployed .
