  • Malaisie
  • Je travaille ici depuis janvier 2019

Highlights
• Completed Plug & Abandonment (P&A) of 15 subsea wells - 5 water injectors, 9 oil producers and 1 gas injector (disposal well) - in water depth between 500 m & 800 m using the 6th generation dual activity drillship Pacific Santa Ana (now Noble Gerry de Souza)
• Successfully completed the first Perforate, Wash & Cement (PWC) work in deepwater in partnership with Reservoir Link & Archer and completed 18 PWC jobs with zero failure.
• Conducted re-drill & log for the first 2 wells to install barriers and established Element Acceptance Criteria (EAC) which saved 2-3 days for the subsequent 13 wells.
• Analyzed results of cement bond logs (CBL/USIT) and redesigned well barriers which optimized the design and reduced the average duration per well by 1-2 days.
• Completed permanent abandonment of 14 subsea wellheads using glass reinforced polymer (GRP) covering. Implemented GRP covering for the first time in the industry for permanent abandonment of wellheads in deepwater
• Led risk assessment and prepared management of change (MOC) document for suspending of a well with BOP stack due to outbreak of COVID-19 on the rig

Responsibilities
Night Drilling Supervisor
• Manage P&A operations for final abandonment of wells in the Chinguetti offshore oilfield working on the drillship Pacific Santa Ana, leveraging the double derrick of the rig to maximize efficiency of batch operations between blowout preventer (BOP) and intervention riser system (IRS)
• Supervise the operation of IRS for recovery of subsea Christmas trees (XT) and upper completion of the well - Chinguetti field has FMC subsea open water vertical Christmas trees (OXT) - coiled tubing, wireline, slickline & flowback (well testing) equipment in deepwater and also overtrawlable structures, flow base systems and subsea wellheads in shallow water
• Supervise setting of normal balanced cementing plugs, cement plugs with PWC in zones with poor annulus cement/no cement and installation of ROMAR swarf handling equipment as contingency for section milling.
• Deputize for the drilling superintendent on his days off, manage rig operation and lead daily meetings with contractors.
Senior Drilling Engineer
• Participated in the planning of final abandonment of wells in the Chinguetti field and prepared detailed design of well P&A complying with NORSOK D010 and PCSB standards.
• Coordinated with the rig contractor for rig modification to accommodate retrieval of OXT with cut tubing in the moonpool as well as for fabrication of BOP adaptor to avoid clatching between the BOP and template manifold during latching of BOP to template wellheads.
• Completed tendering to acquire services required for the P&A campaign.
• Completed SIT of the intervention riser system (IRS), conducted project risk assessment and prepared the blowout contingency plan for the campaign
• Conducted well integrity risk assessments for all wells using Wellbarrier well integrity management solution
• Coordinated with FMC and executed fatigue analysis of wellheads & conductors to determine left life of the wellheads to conduct P&A of the wells
• Led special risk assessment to pull the OXT under single barrier and prepared required MOC with robust mitigation plan in place.
