Maintenance Job Responsibilities:
•Calibration, Testing, Maintenance of Fire Alarm detectors like Smoke, Thermal and Manual Call Points.
•By-passing the Detectors in the Fire alarm System before Starting the Troubleshooting, Calibration or Maintenance Job.
•Preparation of Daily Progress Report, Faulty Material Report, Calibration Report, Maintenance record.
•Coordination With Control Room Operators And Instrumentation Team Daily Work Permits
•Reporting to Instrumentation manager about Daily work progress and other requirements for the successful completion of the Maintenance Contract
PROJECT Job Responsibilities:
•Carrying out installation work as per Method Statement.
•Preparation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Activity Risk Assessment(ARA)
•Preparation of daily work permits (Hot, Cold & Confined space).
•Execution of Proceeding of daily work as per planning.
•Reporting to Construction Manager & Project Manager of daily progress & activities on Site.
•Work on System Design & assist contractors for Modification in Panels
•Provide Assistance to Foreman, in order to lay complete control cables of instruments & panels in Construction site & finalize their routes.
•Reading understand all type drawing like General Layout Plan, Typical Fabrication & Installation Drawing, Instrument Location Drawings, Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P & ID), Instrument Index, Instrument hook-up Drawings, Layout of cable laying Cable schedule, Trench details layout Electrical Hook-up, Instrument Termination Diagrams junction box/ panel, Instrument Loop Drawings, Engineering data sheet.
•Inspect and monitor all project activities of the project sites Take corrective actions wherever required in the case of missing data from either the client or vendor.
•Assist contractors in order to energize Control systems & field instruments
Commissioning Job Responsibilities:
•Responsible for testing and Commissioning of Field Instruments involving Calibration and Loop checking, Pre*commissioning & Commissioning of Field Instruments and Control systems
•Responsible for Project Resources (Materials, Manpower, Testing Instruments, Equipments, Consumables) necessary for E&I Construction & Commissioning activities.
•Supervise, controls and tests of all type of panel, cable and DCS/PLC and process instruments — level, pressure, temp and flow transmitters, controllers, switches, indicators, T/C-RTD etc (Rosemount/Fisher/Foxboro) control valves, motorized valves ESD valves etc (Tyco/Fisher/Flow serve/SPA) etc.
•To witness pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure that the equipment / systems installation / performance are in accordance with the project specifications.
•Actively involved in Loop checking, Functional Checking and Troubleshooting of Field Instruments, Coordinates with other departments/ agencies to resolve interface Issues. Ensures that all safety and precautionary requirements and procedures are followed during the commissioning process.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
•Installation and Commissioning of Instrumentation Systems.
•Loop Checking and Troubleshooting.
•Calibration of PID controllers, Recorders, Transmitters, Gas Detection sensors.
•Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Control Panels, PID Controllers, T Recorders, Sensors, Transmitters & Timers.
•Control Panel Wiring & Troubleshooting.
