•Assigned to lay-out the machine according to its process, for the 2nd facility (factory expansion).
•Implement and conduct training for the Demand Flow Technology System (Kanban).
•Lead the Kaizen Program implementation.
•Promotes and ensure the safety of all factory workers.
•Plan, lead, and organize the ordering, installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment required for the factory.
•Assist the feeder shop floor, in terms of equipment, jigs and fixtures, process flow and support to be able to attain its maximum productivity.
•Initiate procurement of machines, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for the productivity improvement.
•Design a training module for the correct process flow of material.
•Process design, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Lathe programming, CNC Lathe set-up, and CNC operation, for the realization of the new product.
•Uses Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Form Tracer to be able to attain / meet the required product specifications (e.g. GD & T).
•Responsible for producing product samples for mass production, prototype models and drawing specification that meets costumer’s demands.
•Uses SolidWorks 2008 Version for producing drawings and solid modeling. Importing AutoCAD files to SolidWorks models, converting AutoCAD drawing to 3D, and creating a drawing from a 3D Model.
•Handling pre-production for evaluation to be submitted for mass production department.
•Coordinate closely with Production Line Leaders on loading and conduct weekly review to ensure proper execution of plan.
•Development of Aluminum Scrap and Chips Controllability.
•Improvement of production output and its efficiency caused by machine set-up downtime.
•Revision and improvement of CNC Lathe Programs to attain the least possible cycle time.
•Involved as assistant of the Senior Procurement Engineer during the preparation of the Plant Turnaround 2005 (PTA ‘05).
•Assigned to pre-evaluate the offers submitted by the suppliers before handling it over to the Senior Procurement Engineer.
•Monitored the orders or contracts to assure compliance.
