From April 2019 my cooperation with SALFO is being continued as CDM Associate Advisor for the Project Future Schools of Qatar Foundation in Education City.

From July 2018, I have been integrated into SALFO and Associates SA, as Assistant Technical Director. From that position, I provide Technical Support, Bidding Support and Project Control services for all related matters of the Qatari branch, which currently manages a portfolio of more than 30 projects and employs more than 130 engineers. Activities I have been involved in, among others are the following:
• Company’s representation for technical subjects and relevant issues solving
• Project Director in the selected company’s projects
• Upgrading of existing, and establishment of new Processes.
• Staff’s training on new procedures and the way of their proper implementation.
• Negotiations with Sub consultants and clients in matters related to project scope, quality and cost.

"H.A. and Associates” started to be in business in 1990, right after the fulfilment of my military services, being during some periods the main activity of mine and some other periods alongside other occupations. As Chief Engineer, I was involved in all stages of Building Construction Industry: Design - Building Permission issuing - Construction Management - Commissioning and transition to the end-user. The office has acted as the Main Contractor for some projects, and in some others, the office provided Consultant Engineering services to the owners

The period March-April 2017, I cooperated with the AGEC Group of Companies in Jubail, as External Consultant in setting up a framework for reorganising the structure and operation of the group's Construction Company, on purpose to upgrade the company's registration in the Royal Commission's list of companies which have the level of qualifications for undertaking large projects, assigned directly to them by RC. However, the negative developments in the Gulf region postponed group's plans related to the constructions through the RC.

Technical Support Office (T.S.O.) for the projects of Qassim University in Buraydah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, working under the sponsorship of Fadha Engineering Consultant co.

As Senior Project Manager, I managed to establish the Technical Support Office from scratch and staff it (70 engineers of different specialities and 40 technicians and administrative clerks), in a period of 2 months (40% less than the initiate schedule). I implemented the development and organisation of the New T.S.O., transforming it into a functional sector of the General Directorate of Projects and Maintenance (G.D.P.M.), in a period of 4 months (two months earlier than the initial design). Using the principals and processes of PMP methodology, we achieved, under my directions, to provide the efficient technical management of, and offers the needed technical support to the University Projects. This included, indicative and not limited:
• Development and implementation of Project Execution Plans.
• Daily Contractors’ supervision for the proper execution of the projects' works,
• Review of all project documents (contracts, specifications, drawings, BOQs, tendering documentation and bidding procedures, QC/QA plans, HSA plans, etc.), regarding their compliance to University's Specifications
• Assurance of projects' performance conformity by University’s standards.
• Site issues resolving
• Organization of and chair the weekly/monthly performance meetings
• Establishment and implementation's assurance of the QC/QA and HSE plans
• Procedures' establishment to all project sites and Contractors' training on them
• Control of Contractors claims and change requests
• Decision making to correct any deviations from planning and put the project back on track.
• Reporting on the Projects status/progress/forecast and Contractors' performance.
Under my directions, conducting an intelligent use of all available resources, we increased the total number of the projects in the five (5) University Campuses, which was under our teams' responsibilities, by 35%, to the total number of 51:

• 17 projects of Buildings for Classrooms, (197.800m2, 315.241.669 sar)
• 22 projects of Buildings for Colleges (13.697.213m2, 3.064.370.429 sar)
• 2 projects of Residential Buildings, and villas (523.400m2, 1.019.401.990 sar)
• University Hospital, (101.815 m2, 442.484.484 sar)
• University Conference Centre, (37.846 m2, 199.506.833 sar)
• 2 projects of the University Sports Halls, (18, 800 m2, 89.049.597 sar)
• 3 projects of Administrative Buildings, (53.074m2, 198.624.608 sar)
• 3 Projects related to Infrastructure and Maintenance, (119.821.630 sar)
The total budget for these projects was 1, 46 billion $ and the total building area over the 1, 63 million m2.
Moreover, as a recognition of the successful work had been done in my sector, I was assigned the Project Support Office (P.S.O.) as Head Manager. The scope of P.S.O. (12 employees and two senior engineers) was the provision of the necessary services among the sectors of G.D.P.M., mainly in administrative and archiving subjects. At P.S.O., I directed and managed its reorganisation and functional upgrade, so that to be possible to fulfil the requirements demanded by its new role in the University strategic plan.

“G.A. Build” was a successful midsize Real Estate Development, Construction and Consulting company, occupying 12 employees and more than 80 external collaborators. The company used to manage multiple residential and commercial building construction projects in Greece including their fit-out construction-phase. “G.A. Build” proceeded to dissolution in July 2014.
As Managing Director, I undertook Company's strategic planning, and I conducted the Executive Management for all company’s projects for 15 years. Among my role duties, were included, indicative and not limited:
• Decision making for company’s strategic plan.
• Real estate development, and Landlords Management
• Analysing reports related to quality, cost, and time to ensure that the project was on track.
• Properties promotion
• Oversight the development of the initial, and approved the final, architectural design for company's building projects.
• Development and establishment of an initial Building Information Modelling (BIM) system for company’s projects.
• Coordination of the design engineers to complete the required designs for the Building Permits issuing.
• Liaison with Public Authorities, Banks’ representatives and prospective investor and clients.
• Daily projects visit on sites and provision effective directions to the Project Teams
• Chair at the construction site meetings related to the project progress and subcontractors’ performance.
• Effective negotiations with, and coordination of, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Directing the Project team on taking the appropriate actions to prevent or solve construction or site issues.
• Overseeing works' execution to ensure their compliance with approved plans.
• Assurance that the construction project complies with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements according to the approved plans.
• Ensuring that all health and safety regulations were being followed.
• Project Closing Processes and property transitions to the final users.

• New 8-storey building of stores, offices and residences with two basements in Athens
• New 4-storey residential building with pilotis and basement in Ilion.
• Complex of 2 two storey houses with basement and loft in N. Iraklio.
• New 7-storey residential building with pilotis and basement in Athens.
• Complex of 3 two storey houses with basement and loft in N. Iraklio.
• Complex of 12 country houses with basement, loft and a common use swimming pool in Alepochori
• New two-storey house with basement and loft in N. Erithrea.
• New 2-storey residential building with pilotis, basement and loft in Attica.
