*Ensure that all activities on board are performed according to priorities set by planning team, based on operational requirements.

*Ensure stevedores are wearing complete and proper PPE prior to boarding vessel, during and after operations.

*Ensure lashing team is on time and ready to work prior to vessel operation.

*Assist and be ready to resolve stevedoring issues.

*Assist STS operator, through manual signals during load/discharge operations whenever it may be required (standard containers, OOG, gearboxes, hatch covers, etc.)

*Coordinate break hours during shift based on operation schedule.

*Supervise discharge/load of containers, damaged containers and special cargo.

*Validate with chief officer or vessel crew proper lashing system to be used for loaded containers.

*Coordinate with chief officer or vessel crew final gearboxes position.

*Verify with chief officer or vessel crew Reefer Container engine position in bay.

*Supervise that lashing/unlashing process is performed on time and according to plan with operation sequence.

*Validate that all stevedores get down from vessel at the end of operations.

*Ensure that all lashing material is complete at the end of vessel operation.

*Ensure team is on time and ready to work

*Responsible of chimney installation on site/supervison.
