1. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the transactions in the revenue and collection cycle.
2. Ensure that transactions in the revenue cycle are in compliance with applicable tax regulations
3. Prepare reconciliations concerning tenant accounts, advance, deposits and unearned income, identify and resolve issues in case of discrepancies.
4. Prepare various tax returns: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Built-Up Property Tax and Salaries tax & NSSF.
5. Coordinate with ministry of finance for tax inspections and audits.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Handled full cycle of accounting, tax and financial reporting for various clients. Main duties were:

1. Ensuring that transactions booked are in compliance with applicable regulations and IFRS
2. Preparing of monthly payroll and NSSF contributions.
3. Maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation computations
4. Preparing various tax returns: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Salaries Income Tax and NSSF contributions.
5. Reviewing client’s trial balance before monthly closing of books
6. Preparing balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliations
7. Preparing customized client’s monthly management reports
