Function as part of the senior leadership team to oversee company finances & compliance.
Manage and oversee the accounting function including month & year end closing.
Deploy necessary processes & frameworks to standardize financial controls.
Ensure end to end documentation and paper trails are in place for all transactions.
Inventory management & controlling processes are aligned with company standards.
Manage inventory and stock-take during & including end of year activities.
Manage Vendors and Suppliers including (Invoices, returns, payments, receipts).
Work collaboratively with other functions to achieve shared goals.
Prepare corporate taxation and payments (VAT, Salary Tax & NSSF).
Cash management & Controlling (sales reports, returns, tills etc.)
Manage Stakeholders and various teams.
Prepare and present financial, Inventory, & Tax reports.

1. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the transactions in the revenue and collection cycle.
2. Ensure that transactions in the revenue cycle are in compliance with applicable tax regulations
3. Prepare reconciliations concerning tenant accounts, advance, deposits and unearned income, identify and resolve issues in case of discrepancies.
4. Prepare various tax returns: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Built-Up Property Tax and Salaries tax & NSSF.
5. Coordinate with ministry of finance for tax inspections and audits.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Handled full cycle of accounting, tax and financial reporting for various clients. Main duties were:

1. Ensuring that transactions booked are in compliance with applicable regulations and IFRS
2. Preparing of monthly payroll and NSSF contributions.
3. Maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation computations
4. Preparing various tax returns: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Salaries Income Tax and NSSF contributions.
5. Reviewing client’s trial balance before monthly closing of books
6. Preparing balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliations
7. Preparing customized client’s monthly management reports

1. Ensuring proper booking of transactions for many clients.
